Wij zijn de hele week geopend vanaf 09.30 uur voor een heerlijk bakje koffie en is de keuken vanaf 12.00 uur geopend. Gelegen tussen twee natuurgebieden, te weten de Slufter en de Mandenvallei bevindt zich het voor de noordpunt van Texel enige badstrand, in een omgeving die de Krim genoemd wordt. Hier begon Strandpaviljoen De Krim eens als een kleine kiosk op het strand. We schrijven 1959, het jaar waarin voor het eerst horeca activiteiten te vinden waren bij Paal 28. Een houten keet die omgebouwd werd tot kiosk vormde samen met een nog uit de oorlog overgebleven bunker, een consumptietent. De naam "De Krim" werd gekoppeld aan deze consumptietent. Waar deze naam vandaan komt is niet precies te zeggen. Er zijn verschillende verhalen over het ontstaan van deze naam, waarvan wij onderstaande als meest aannemelijke beschouwen. Vroeger waren de Eierlandse duinen, slechts verbonden door een zanddijk met de rest van Texel, een soort schiereiland. Vanuit zee gezien leek de kustlijn precies op een gelijke situatie die zich voordoet in Rusland...

They make many different IPAs as well as some low alcohol beers and NA beers. Oh and then there is the location! It's an old church and their decor inside is far from religious. It has multicolored fluorescent lights and and some funky adornments. It was 11:30am when we rolled it so there weren't many others hanging around but I very much enjoyed the beer and the whole place.
