Ever wondered where the locals hide when you are out and about on a busy, cramped and often slightly messy ending Saturday night? One of their hiding places is the Strawberry Hall, and ould school pub near the Liffey. This pub has a nice outdoor seating area for sunny afternoons, an atmospheric inside seating area and a good function room where you can catch live entertainment once in a while.
If you are really lucky, you might walk in on a Friday night and catch a trad session. Everyone can join and the evening can turn into a great singing competition between youngsters and the older generation.
The pints are great too, especially the guinness.
So if you are in the mood for something more traditional off the trek, stop by the Strawberry Hall, you wont be disappointed. read more
