Came in here on a visit from out of town and found myself having to buy a larger suitcase to go home with because I found such a haul of incredible vintage clothing. Let's face it, a bunch of it was stuff I gave to friends and it might be a little too wacky for them to wear much, but they said I better bring more cool (and incredibly low priced) vintage back for them next time. This store has tons of little knick-knacks and trinkets in addition to larger furniture pieces and plenty in-between. I mostly came in to find some first edition books (and while they have plenty of books to look through, antiques are the main focus). The owners certainly have a good eye for finding interesting and random bits of Americana that have fallen through the cracks of style and into the bin of non-remembrance. It's enough to make you nostalgia for the good old days before we had to worry about chemicals in our water, before you had to think about nuclear war, when a coke was two pennies and the attendant would pop the bottle cap off for you.
