The previous tenants had a dog and several children that lived obviously very active lives in the house. Having 3 dogs ourselves, we just settled to have gross looking carpets. Fast forward 2 years to move out, we hired David to professionally clean the carpets. He is just about the same price as the other guys per square foot, offered a free estimate prior to cleaning, and recommended the deodorizing treatment. He was timely (actually a bit early), courteous, authentic, and genuinely a nice guy to talk to. While the deodorizing smell was quite strong the first 24 hours, the carpets were AMAZING! He actually had removed stains from the previous tenants that we figured were impossible to remove. I only wish the previous tenants had known about David and Midland CleanPro so we could have had the same luxury when we moved in! Thank you Midland CleanPro for doing such a fantastic job!! I told the receptionist/call center my cat had urinated on my area rug and gave her the size. She told me in addition to cleaning it, it would have Odor Destroyer and said my cost was $80.00 The day of the appointment Troy Hayes called to confirm my appointment and I asked him to confirm the charge; he said the charge was $80.00 When he arrived at my home I was informed it would be another $45.00 for a total of $125.00. He blamed the miscommunication on the person that scheduled my appointment. I should have canceled right then but I didn't. He cleaned the rug which was dry by the following day. It smelled no different than before the cleaning. I phoned him and he cleaned it twice more, once the day before leaving town for 6 weeks, but nothing changed. The rug still smells heavily of cat urine, can't smell and odor destroyer, and the rug is unusable at this point. Throughout this Troy was exceptionally nice so I phoned him when I arrived back in town. I had to leave a message saying how bad the rug smelled , that the odor destroyer did nothing, and that I hated to do this but I planned on writing a negative review. I left my phone number just in case he cared to talk to me or, heaven forbid, offer a refund. I waited a week to hear back before writing my review but I received neither a call or refund. Obviously he's not concerned about reviews. When a company offers a service they can't produce, a full refund should be offered. Now I know not to expect better of Oxi Fresh and will never refer a single client to them. My advise - rent a Rug Doctor. It gets the job done and if way cheaper.
