You choose the time you want to deliver the car, pay online and leave it there until the job is done. They will call you and report if work needs to be done to pass the MOT , how much it costs and when to collect. The staff is really friendly and understanding if you are late. I missed the first appointment and they offered to rebook. The location is a bit outside of town, but there are plenty of buses and the tram close by - into town and to South Gyles shopping centre, if u feel like shopping during your waiting hours. A quick phone call books my car in usually within 2 days, I get a call if any major work needs done and then another call when it's ready to pick up. They euxplained what needs fixed, how much it would cost and how long it would take clearly and so that I understood everything. The only minor thing that was a bit annoying the first time, is that if it's something minor like a tire needing replacing then they'll just do it and not call you but once you know it's fine.

Payment was simple cash or bank transfer. Even offering to come to my work if it was easier to collect payment. The work was a high standard with great tyres. Wheels are well balanced. I contacted sean at 7pm not expecting a reply, to recieve a reply very quickly and even better offering next morning fitting. Kwik fit wont do that for you unless you go in and then pay more. I will use again and would advise anyone needing tyres to try Sean at pit stop. Thanks for the tyres fast service and no pressure sales.

I chose Meadowfield due to the offer of bonus Tesco points , however now that I have had experience of service from this family run business, I would most certainly not hesitate to use them in the future. The initial online booking was a very smooth,informative process with clear instructions and advice given. I was given a time to take my vehicle into the garage, and on doing so I was immediately attended to by a polite,courteous mechanic and was offered either to wait for the tyres to be replaced or to come back within a short time. I chose the first and sat in their bright, little cabin while the job was carried out. Every now and again someone popped in, always with a friendly smile. After about 40 mins, another friendly face came in to tell me the job was finished and I was ready to go - not only new tyres fitted but also 'perfectly balanced' after I may have 'set them off a bit' , probably hit a kerb or something!!
