First time buyer and have been offered no help whatsoever, work full time and received my missives to sign 4 days before the moving date. Also told I need a million documents from relatives who are helping me purchase property with absolutely no guidance on how to retrieve said documents. 3 phone calls in the one day not returned to finally be answered on the 4th as the solicitor I had only works until 1 o clock. By far the worst solicitors I have dealt with for selling/buying property. Emails not returned timely, and when they were they were most certainly not professionally written. When I asked how long it would be until I received my money after the sale of our house I was told "I don't know, I haven't been in" No sorry that's not the response that you should be sending to clients. Phone calls taken and not returned. Lost my personal documentation twice. I dropped off official signed documentation which was checked at reception by Hannah and given the all OK only to be chased 3 weeks later to say that something was incorrect and we had to immediately come down to the office to sign, which we were not able to do. Having telling my friend who was previously a Mortgage advisor with the Bank of Scotland, I was told that they were a business that was not recommended to their clients due to the high number of issues they had, speaks volumes and ultimately information I wish I knew in advance. read more

I have bought and sold numerous properties and experienced conveyancing services by many solicitors. Strefford Tulips are the worst I have ever used. They missed a major result from a search and Louise Johnstone who I paid handsomely did not have a single conversation with me. Every piece of work was done by her overworked paralegal.
