The staff has turned over a good bit in the couple years its been since my last visit which is no surprise given all everyone has faced and it had to have been ultrahard on businesses that require such personal contact and connection. That said, in looking at the bios and experiencing a massage from one staff member it's clear SN continues to vet who they sign on thoroughly and bring in well trained folks. Pretty much any kind of therapeutic body work you're interested in SN has you covered. I generally go for deep tissue massage but they do many styles and I'm sure do all the others well. The new location is easy to access with plenty of parking. The inside space is well appointed, quiet and relaxing. The staff is very friendly and makes you feel comfortable. I highly recommend my therapist, Ian. I have chronic tension in my back and I left feeling 1000 times better than when I walked in. I've had massages at high-end spas over the years and they don't even compare to the results from Serenity Now. It's clear Ian and the other therapists are very skilled at true therapeutic massage. She makes sure to listen to your needs/complaints and she really cares about her clients. Her space is very relaxing from the moment you walk in. Once the massage is complete, she gives you a water, and explains everything clearly what she thinks would be best (stretches, posture, etc) for you! I had to cancel an appointment due to a family emergency, I called last night at 11:30 to cancel a 12:30 appointment today - so I gave 18 hours notice with a message explaining the cancellation. I expected to call back and reschedule when we were back to normal our normal schedule, but instead, I got a nasty phone call and a bill for $50 for a late cancellation. I've never canceled with them with less than 24-hours notice before, although I have rescheduled a few appointments as I've needed to flex for work (and also had a few of my appointments canceled or rescheduled at the last minute as my aesthetician had some family emergencies she had to attend to.) 18-hours notice is decent chunk time, and I'd expect more grace for a returning customer who was having a hard time. I'm sad because I really liked Julie - I'll see if she works in other spas because I don't want to miss her services because of the business owner's stringency.
