I cannot in honesty recommend this place. It's not even a place, they rent space from another company that really wants nothing to do with their customers. It was so awkward. And their business model is something I don't appreciate. They wanted a credit card on file to book. Why? I had gift cards that say "same as cash" on them but they only want to honor $50 dollars explaining they have to pay a portion to the card company, but I pointed out that is none of my business it's between you and that marketing company! So they tried to get me to pay but after arguing how it's not right, they honored it in the end which I greatly appreciated. The lengthy conversations on the phone and the whole credit card on file and not honoring same as cash gift cards that did their marketing im afraid is not good customer service in my opinion. The clinician though was awesome could not have been better! They do upsell though, so beware! I ended up getting an additional service as well as product which I was not planning on. If people have a budget, they book for that budget, I think upselling is not right either especially as a new client. In reviewing they claim to be in business multiple years, but this business model is just very awkward. I think they should get their own place not rent space, be legitimate, it felt shady all around, they should allow customers to book what they want online and use gift cards appropriately towards any service or product. Like going to an established restaurant, make a reservation, go, order, and pay. A good business model. I won't be going back, sorry to say. read more

Absolutely incredible! I've been having a less than fun pregnancy and really struggled with nerve pain - Hoag referred me here and I only wish I had found it sooner! Every masseuse from Kaitlyn to Mikki to Dayna has been lovely and so good at what they do, but I want to give a special shout out to Mikki, who truly has the most nurturing, caring, and healing touch. She's so wonderful and gifted and I will absolutely be coming back for postpartum and beyond. Their customer service is also lovely; my first massage I booked had to be rescheduled do to illness, and Michael went above and beyond to work with my challenging schedule and get me in within just a few days. If you have long hair, best to put it up. StressBusters is booked about a week in advance. They are very polite. Remember that you should say something if the massage therapist needs to adjust pressure. For years at other places, I just endured the pain, only to regret going and left wondering how anyone could possibly feel at ease. I've only had 1 prenatal massage before at a different place and it was so mid and didn't really address any issues. StressBusters was absolutely phenomenal. Mikki took her time asking me about myself and my concerns then addressed them thoroughly in the massage and then some. She truly knows what she's doing and she relieved tension in places I didn't realize needed it. She even ended the massage relieving tension in my jaw. Her technique is very clearly one based on a lot of knowledge. Not only was it an amazing and much needed prenatal massage, but Mikki seemed like she's truly passionate about her job and helping expecting moms. I would highly recommend this place if you are pregnant and looking for some muscle/pain/tension relief. First I did a facial with Amandine, she was really lovely and used all pregnancy safe products with me. I even ended up buying the facial scrub she used because it was such a nice experience. She was wonderful so I'd absolutely recommend booking a facial with her. I also went to Katlyn at least 4 or 5 times during my pregnancy and oh my goodness am I glad I did. The pain I got with the pregnancy was awful compared to my first and she was able to focus on my tense and painful areas and bring some relief. She's an absolute pleasure to talk to and incredibly knowledgeable. I asked her about her focuses and she said she mainly works on pregnant clients and sport injuries and you can tell she has a passion for making people feel comfortable. I am saddened about the change in Stressbusters over the years. I went for the first time a few weeks ago and I haven't been able to go as often due to having small children in my life now, but I wanted to have a prenatal massage for my birthday since I'm now expecting #3. I have been going to Stressbusters since my first pregnancy and have been a long-time fan. However, my last experience left something to be desired. I went into their new location about 25 minutes early, expecting to experience their tranquility room and relax and have a water or tea to wind-down before my massage. Their new facility is shared with some kind of wellness provider so I was greeted by a receptionist and told to just wait in their lobby. I was not offered a beverage or to use the restroom prior to my treatment. When treatment time came around, it was a good massage. Not the best, but not terrible. I used to love the tables at Stressbusters as they would always ensure the temperature was to your liking and have warmers if needed. I was so cold in the room and my therapists hands were also freezing cold. Table temperature was not adjusted and I was not asked about it. When I flipped over, I finally asked for a blanket because I was miserable over how cold it was in the room. The payment situation at the end was also strange. I had to call The Stressbusters number to authorize my payment and add my 20% gratuity. I asked for a copy to be emailed to me and it was never sent to me. The massage prices are the same even though the experience definitely wasn't. For the value, I don't think I'll be returning which is so sad because as you can see from my previous review, I really loved going there! read more

My partner and I moved in South Orange County while I was pregnant of our first son and I was desperately looking for a pre-natal massage therapist. I have been so fortunate to have been recommended Mikki as the top (not only pre-natal massage therapist in California) but as a teacher of the practice to other therapists. Since then, I had the chance to benefit from her home deep-tissue massages almost every weekend. Being a tech entrepreneur, it was (and still is) very crucial to stay strong physically and mentally every single day no matter what is happening in personal life. Mikki has been a huge contributor to the fact that I have been able to remain highly productive during the pregnancy and postpartum. In addition to her massages, she has created customized inhalers made from essential oils for my partner and I (that are either intended to relax or energize). We have used them before, during and after the delivery of our son. Mikki has been also giving me a massage two days before delivery and right away back home from birth centre. The delivery went very smoothly without any complications. Being new in the neighborhood, Mikki has been a huge help in multiple ways, including through her numerous introductions. This is a review of their induction massage for pregnant women - I had to leave a review to report back that the induction massage worked for me!!! My baby was due on March 3, but on March 5 I was very much still pregnant and looking to get things moving. I had scheduled the induction massage for March 5 in the afternoon and was cautiously optimistic that it might just work. I had the massage and it was a nice experience, with the masseuse focusing on several pressure points in various parts of the body. The masseuse said that the induction effect would likely kick in within 24 hours after the massage. Well I woke up on March 6 to have my water break at around 6 am! We went to the hospital, and long story short, our beautiful baby boy was born at 9:55 pm on March 6! If you are pregnant and have an overdue baby, I'd recommend an induction massage at StressBusters!!! read more

Mikki is a miracle worker! If you are pregnant you need to go see her. The massages are not like regular massages at all, they are actually therapeutic and HEAL you. I already booked another appointment with her and a labor Induction massage (just in case I don't go into labor by my due date) with her too! I'm 35 weeks and I am super tight in my neck and my hips are pretty tight too. She definitely got me practicing my labor breathing when she was getting those knots out and loosening up my hips! Honestly I love a firm massage and I know they can't be firm on the legs, but I felt soooo weightless when she was massaging my legs and feet. Felt great. Just a FYI this isn't a fancy spa where you can lounge all day and drink cucumber water. This is where you come to get a great massage at a great price and feel released after. I've been coming here since my 2nd trimester and have had Jodi, Dana, and Katlyn. Katlyn is my favorite massage therapist EVER, and I've had a lot of massages at different places over the years. She is really precise and I love when she focuses on my pressure points around my hips. She has been a huge help in my recovery from c section. Jodi was great as well during my 2nd and 3rd trimesters. She relieved a lot of my discomfort from pregnancy. Highly recommend if you are pregnant or postpartum. NOTE: This was my first pregnancy massage, but not my first massage. I was 33 weeks along and I got a 55-min massage PROS: great service, relaxing atmosphere, friendly staff, clean rooms and bathroom CONS: The only thing I would say is that maybe some of the lotions/oils smell too oily. Even though they are meant to have a soothing scent, I didn't feel that as much. Entering the spa, I was taken back immediately to get ready for my massage. I had paperwork to do, but the lady in the front desk said, you can complete it when done (thanks for letting me get right to what I came for!) I loved the massage I got, and I loved my masseuse. Kathy was kind, welcoming, and had a smile on her face ready to make me feel comfortable and relaxed - the way all moms should be able to feel every once in a while :) She asked me if there were particular spots where she needed to do more work, and also to let her know whenever I wanted more time there or change of pressure. I told her only my back, shoulder and calves were aching and giving cramps. But the BEST thing that happened for me was that she recognized and told me about a spot on my glute that was actually a big bother for me (a pinching nerve) for 8 months, but I completely forgot to mention it to her. She FOUND it and she FIXED the pain. I don't feel the pain anymore, which is common among pregnant women apparently, and she said that if I feel it again, to come back and treat it. The fact that she found it without me even mentioning it told me that she knew what she was doing and she knew where I could use relief given that I am a pregnant woman. For this reason I would definitely go back again to StressBusters with Kathy! Overall, the massage was great and concentrated on the most stressed areas read more

This was my first time at stressbusters but my 3rd prenatal massage, and by far the best one I've had. The staff is incredibly well trained, super nice, and the massage chairs are super comfortable. Did the 85 min prenatal massage and 60 min prenatal facial. Teresa was my massage therapist. My mother gave me a gift card for Christmas and I thought I'd get a massage and start the new year relaxed and invigorated. I scheduled a Swedish massage and I was so happy I did. From the moment I walked in, everyone was friendly and knowledgeable. The receptionist had me fill out some paperwork so that the massage therapist knew my problem areas and what I wanted to focus on. Lisa (the receptionist) showed me the facilities and made me feel at home. I placed my personal belongings in a lovely little locker, put on a very comfortable robe and sandals, and waited in a relaxing waiting room for my massage therapist, Dana. There is an infrared sauna, a lovely bathroom with a shower, a few rooms for various services, a very relaxing waiting area with a refreshment table where they had hot tea, fruit infused water, and a few snacks. It was very well planned out and I really enjoyed how they had everything. When Dana came to find me, she showed me to the massage room, asked if I wanted the table heated, gave me a few moments to get myself disrobed and comfortable on the table, and then she came back into the room and started. Dana was great at giving me a very relaxing and deep massage. There were definitely a few times that I was nodding off from how relaxing the experience was. When she was finished, she gave me time to put my robe and slippers back on, when I came out of the room she was waiting for me with a glass of lemon water, and showed me back to the waiting room to wake back up. ;) I will definitely be going back for more massages and more services. I got an hour massage here for $85, plus tip was a $100. It was an okay massage, but for the price... I won't be coming back. For that money, I would expect the therapist to be really fantastic. I could have gotten the same massage at one of the Asian places for half that price. Maybe you got a gift card to come here, then I would recommend reading all the reviews and seeing which names of therapists or facialists get a thumbs up from a lot of customers. Wonderful! I had Teresa for a 55 minute prenatal massage (at 31 weeks) for my first time at this spa. Teresa was very caring, had firm pressure and was personable. The place is nicely decorated and provided for a relaxing ambiance. You'll want to call well in advance to book an appointment.
