Stride Bank went into my personal checking account and took money out. It was an unauthorized transaction. Right now they are trying to get out of taking care of the issue. Absolutely horrendous bank. Do not open account here as they do not help with fraudulent activity at all. They don't have any Amer speaking employees you are able to understand due to heavy ascents. They absolutely have no sympathy for the customers and will not help you recoup your money. I personally had $1,175.00 withdrawn accidentally from my account they did absolutely nothing to help me. This happened on May 1, 2026 and to date not one phone call, email or letter sent to me trying to help me. It's appalling!! I've been banking here almost 40 years, going back to the Central National dats. The service has always been wonderful. I've had nondairy, loans, checking and saving. There are other services to help anyone with their bcc ranking needs. The convenient drive through was great during the pandemic. read more

I have a dispute for chime that's $44.92 that was denied because the dispute department there filed it wrong then the 2nd and 3rd agent said they corrected it which they didn't. The rebuttal was denied too and Stride Bank is the FDIC that insures chime but all they do is tell you to contact regular chime support by hitting option 3 which is no different than regularly calling chime. At this point the merchant scammed me i provided proof and still no refund just denials. Stay away from Stride and Chime because they are useless and untrained. I filed reports with the financial bureaus along with the attorney generals for Oklahoma for Stride and California for Chime along with BBB and im not quitting until i get my money back. Their social media pages and LinkedIn will also get the full story posted. They also post an email that I've already contacted to make it appear as though they are giving me some information I don't have and they ultimately probably will do absolutely nothing to resolve this complete and utter joke scammed out of my money. Terrible company just hangs up you and directs you to chime support or gives the email like actual drone robots that never deter from their programming. Anything to just ignore actual issues people have. The worst crap I've ever dealt with the most awful company ever. I'd imagine any reviews with more than 2 stars are employees friends or paid reviews so it's not as bad as the rating should actually be because they are a joke. read more

Stride Bank used to be Central National Bank of Enid--a lovely hometown bank full of pleasant, helpful professionals. Not any more. I've been trying to buy a car, which I found at Carmax in Wichita. My banker has been informed all along. She knew I was going to Wichita to pick it up today. ALL I NEEDED was SOMEONE in that damn bank to assure Carmax on the phone that a very large check would clear. EVERYONE in the damn department took today off---and didn['t leave any notes for the poor schmuck who had to stay and answer the phone. So after leaving about 6 voicemail messages--because they only said "unable to take your call"' or the Operator said "She's away from her desk..." I finally talked to the live schmuck who informed me there was NO ONE there who could help me. So my dear friend who drove me to Wichita this morning had to drive me home again, sans car. I had to RENT A CAR from Enterprise--about $500 for the weekend...I am beyond furious. It's MY money, dammit!!!!!!! Whattya bet I won't even get an apology come Tuesday? Oh, BTW--I've banked her for about 50 years, and my family for over 100 years...not that they give a damn. read more
