Dr put me at ease by letting me know he was a great Doctor/Surgeon. My out come was fantastic. He told me upfront before I went into surgery that I might wake up with plates and screws. The break was a bad one. I woke up with only a few Kwires in my foot a great looking X-ray and Dr Nord saying "we got it done". No understand he is human and not all outcomes are great. Maybe I got lucky or maybe he is a great surgeon I'm going with the latter. Thank you for taking care of me. Oh he loves to talk music. Is a Pink Floyd & Led Zep fan. Plays guitar and rides dirt bikes.

Three weeks in a row they canceled my appointment, I can never get anyone to answer the phones and literally had to resort to dialing every possible combination of numbers just to get a live person on the phone. They don't seem to really put their patients before the wallets of the doctors. Definitely the most disorganized and terribly run doctors office ever visited. I regret ever having to go there.

We went to the Urgent Care on Friday and they did strength test on my son and x-rayed my daughter's wrist. We were then referred to an orthopedic. OAR were the only ones that could help us on Monday because they accept walk-ins. It was a $75 copay for each child with my insurance. They helped my daughter, however, my son, they barely even looked at his hand and told me there was nothing they could do. The only thing they could do was refer me to physical therapy. My son was upset because he can barely hold a pencil. If they didn't think they could help him then why did they take the $75 for doing nothing? He sat in the chair & that's it! It would have been way different if they said. "We really can't do anything to help you" and then didn't take any money because no service was rendered. Just wanted to make everyone aware before you visit that you may end up paying for nothing.

Dr. Longenecker is excellent and compassionate. I don't know where he gets the time and energy. He…read moreand his staff take the time to listen (sometimes you have to speak loudly). But you know your body and you know if something isn't right. I was to another Orthopedic Specialist that wouldn't listen to me and then came to Dr. Longenecker for a second opinion. They took the time to show me what a normal knee should look like and we tried treating it before we had to go through with the Total Knee Replacement. While in his care I fell and I complained that something was wrong with my other knee. I had to convince them to do the MRI and sure enough I had a torn meniscus in the other knee. I had a script problem with my insurance and one of the doctors personally took the script to the pharmacy knowing I had been through enough. You aren't just another number.
