In return, Strong obtained non-mutual fund business from the Stern family, the SEC says. This is the second time the Strong fund company has been sanctioned by regulators for putting its interests ahead of investors. In 1994, the SEC fined Strong mutual funds $440,300 and barred an affiliate from adding clients for six months.

I do keep scratching my head trying to figure out why I have certain funds in my portfolio that have a 5 year trend of losses. I did asked my "Wealth Manager" and was told not to question the investment committees decisions. Just love dealing with a condeesending individuals.(not really) I do give Annex credit for starting to put client monies into CD's. Although they were about 90-120 days late in pulling the trigger on this one. There are many good professional managers at Annex Wealth.
