Hello, did she even look in my chart before she entered the room, NO! I was there because I had a bad fall and I had a dexa scan which revealed I had Osteoporosis of the spine, not bad in the hips and her first thing was to recommend a Prolia injection/infusions Big Pharma again! Never mentioned side effects which in my profession as a Dental Hygienist have seen first hand. Loss of teeth and bone. I will never forget a patient that came to me 3 months after Prolea infusions. Patient had 4 titanium implants placed 6 months prior, they were doing well prior, her concern they were all loose and falling out at $6000 each! Gone following her infusions. My worst nightmare! Builds the bone in the body but, reverses it in the mandible. Look it up. What about nutrition? Never once mentioned that because all many Doctors do is push drugs with serious side effects! And get kickbacks from the pharmaceutical companies. Basically she flat out told me if I did not get it I would be an old lady walking around all hunched over. I believe in nutrition and exercise over drugs any day of the week. Unfortunately they don't teach much of that in school. I looked her in the eye and said, "watch me" i walked out! I do not recommend her at all! I will never go back to her. Osteonecrosis of the Jaw (ONJ): This serious, rare condition involves the breakdown of the jawbone, resulting in exposed bone, pain, and poor healing. Not as rare as you think seen it many times!

I provided a detailed explanation of the issues, but I have not received any follow-up communication. This lack of response confirms my suspicions about their billing practices. I strongly advise seeking treatment elsewhere. This facility appears to engage in serious billing misconduct, including charging patients thousands of dollars for improperly billed services. A critical part of their strategy seems to be avoiding insurance billing altogether. Even when you provide your insurance information, they may choose to bill you directly if they believe they can make a larger profit from you as a self-pay patient. I will be reporting these serious billing tactics to the proper regulatory agencies, who will be investigating the matter look out for update

You must be related to this doctor or in his office and obviously why would you even tell me to see a psychiatrist‍

The level of care and efficiency from the office was so professional and the surgery and many follow up visits were positive, informative and incredible helpful. I highly recommend this practice. So grateful to have the ability to strength- train after such a heinous injury to this old body. There is no way I would have been able to do it without their positive support, kindness and (most of all!) surgical talent! Thank you Doctors Sheppard and Romero!

Several reviews express the same and honestly imagine you just had surgery and need followup support from YOUR doctor or the medical team!!? NO Bueno. Messages both voicemail and email go unanswered. Had my chart sent over in less than 24 hours from Ventura Ortho for a second opinion and evaluation here. Appointment with Dr. Romero went well and we rescheduled a surgery consult and prep recall out a few weeks. We just don't feel comfortable proceeding with this medical group when there is NO confidence in receiving responsible access to records or the doctor's office. Potential patients beware... Canceling today and moving forward elsewhere so we can be assured of quality care and a professional medical team.

You can tell by the way that he explains the way that he is going to do surgery that he knows what he's doing. I cannot say enough great things about this man. He changed my life with a fantastic surgery. I went to three other neurosurgeons for other opinions on my situation and Dr Jones by far had the best ideas, best execution, and most professional. I am now two months out after having major spinal surgery, and everything went splendid! He has been nothing but professional, kind, and I would recommend him to anyone. Most importantly if a family member had to have surgery I would demand that he did it.
