Difficult to navigate scheduling an appointment online for what I need, on hold for several hours, and if you go in person you have to also wait several hours just to make an appointment for another day most likely months out even if you're asking a simple question, following up with an application, etc. All these years they had the wrong date of birth in their system, sent a new card which never came and they don't seem to care or want to help. Overall condescending and unkind attitude from the staff, and an overall waste of time for me.

I used the exact same file to get a library card for proof of residency so once again their system's broke. Got a five day parking pass, two of those days are the weekend. Come Monday it is back to square one as that's the only file I have saying my LEASE AGREEMENT that I literally live here. I said I can take paperwork in person, they said no it's all automated. They very nicely did nothing for me. I even told them about my parking ticket and no offer to resolve that was made. That tickets not getting paid. At least the parking attendant was nice and no one gave me attitude. They just gave me no help.

My usual local library (North Hollywood) was recently closed for maintenance so I had a few holds sent to this library for pick up. I go their pretty frequently, but not that often. It is close to home and when I need to get some work done of any kind, I need peace and quiet; since you can't do much at home. Too much distraction from neighbors and every day life. I need to address some highlights to certain things that gets my attention. First and foremost, I would like to describe the beauty of the architecture of this building. It is very well curated in a very unique way with white, beautiful flowers all around the building and parking lot. Inside is very CLEAN, bright, lit, with high ceilings. It has plenty of room to move around, lots and lots of tables/chairs, a separate room for children's section, an information desk, lots of computers with free WI-FI, shelves are very nicely organized with all types of books. Fiction, non fiction and other types of books.They have a full rack of MAGAZINES in the back, but YOU CAN ONLY USE THEM INSIDE THE LIBRARY! Can't check them out. An easy check out system by their employees, and they are pretty fast and quick. Employees are very nice, helpful and friendly. I have to mention them by their names. Not in any particular order: Brian, Devin, Dominique, Vince, Lupe, Kim, Kristine, and there was a lady by the name of Maureen that no longer works there. ALL SUPER HELPFUL whenever you need anything! I not only like to go and work there, do some paperwork, write bills, organize miscellaneous things etc...I also like to rent DVD's from this library, books, and if you request a movie or a book and they don't have it on the shelf, the process is SEAMLESS. You tell them what you need, and they will get it for you within a week and place it on their HOLD shelf, email or call you that the items are ready to be picked up. Has an ample size parking lot, clean restrooms for boys and girls, and a water fountain to fill up your bottle. What more can one ask for?? Beverly Hills City Hall is absolutely stunning. It is definitely a local landmark to check out…read morewhether you are a tourist or a local. The outside of the building is definitely picture perfect in its beauty and architectural design. City Hall was originally built in 1932. It has been renovated since then but the classic gorgeous style has been maintained throughout the years. It is Spanish Renaissance style and it's tall like a castle with a dome at the top. It is across the street from the Beverly Hills library and police department and next to the fire station. Sometimes there are light displays on the building at night for special occasions and holidays. There is even a nice courtyard in the middle. City Hall is a voting venue for residents and it is a nice place to go vote. It is also a fully functioning building for the city's administrators. Did you know you could rent space in Beverly Hills City Hall for your event or conference or meeting? I had no idea this was a possibility until I was invited to an event there recently (a lecture). The room that is available is called "The Gallery". It can seat up to 120 people or 150 people for a standing room only event. The room has large windows and a beautiful ceiling and lighting. The venue allowed outside food as my event was catered. The bathrooms were also very nicely kept up and very clean. It was a little bit difficult to find the room but I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived at how lovely it was. We parked on the lot on Crescent which is where the organizer told us to park. There was ample parking and it was validated for our event.

Great communication leading up to the tour. I was sent a bar code and instructions in multiple emails as the date came closer to the tour.. Ok, today was the day, IT'S ALL HAPPENING ! I landed in Burbank and headed straight to the house. Ok, got there early cause I was super excited. I waited in the car till 3pm which was my time in which then I knocked on the front door and was greeted.... No it wasn't Carol or Alice but a nice lady with a few more instructions. Yelpers I just teleported into time and my childhood fantasy has arrived.... My eyes gazed over the entry way and living room for which I was just flabbergasted by what I saw, yes I'm actually standing in Mike & Carols living room. I'd always envisioned myself in my dreams but never in my wildest thoughts that I'd actually be standing inside the Brady Bunch House.... Upon walking in you'll be staring at the staircase you'll see the vase Peter broke when throwing the basketball inside the house " Mom Always Said Don't Play in The House "! Since it's a self guided tour I drifted into the kitchen first and man the 70's kitchen with avocado & orange appliances blinded me and made me smile.. I picture Alice in the kitchen in her blue maid outfit. I walked through into the den and saw the tv and TIGER the dog & his bowl. Yes, I know it's not the real tiger but hey he had a good life... Greg's football playbook was on the table for viewing or stealing plays... Sliding glass doors opened and I was in the backyard & garage area.. Mikes red car was in the garage next to a fleet of bicycles.. Even the Brady Dunk tank was for viewing but no dunking... Back into the house I now ventured upstairs to the Brady girls room and sitting on the bed is Cindy's beloved doll Kitty Karry All... AJan's black wig even was in the bedroom, can you believe it I couldn't. Various awards in the room and now I'm in connecting bathroom the kids shared... Bathroom was great and even had shampoo and toothpaste from 70's... Brady boys bedroom was next and the famous blue bunkbeds were right there.. Peter & Bobby's bunkbeds were awesome. No I didn't take a nap in case your wondering... Backdown the stairway to Mike's working home office and then to Alice's bedroom. Nice touch with a framed photo of Sam The Butcher on Alice's nightstand... Now I crossed the house into the hippie version of Greg's / Johnny Bravo's bedroom. Amongst Greg's stuff was a fake mascot of COOLIDGE HIGH SCHOOL goat LOL.... However the coolest item was the famous cursed taboo tiki idol necklace. This leading to bad luck like Greg's surfing wipeout and a tarantula scare. Now moving on it was Mike & Carols room to close out my trip through time... THANK YOU for allowing me on the tour and actually hang in the Brady Bunch house. A dream come true and I'll cherish for life.. IT'S WORTH THE MONEY FOKS!

I won a trip to meet some of the stars from the show. I didn't know which ones would be there beforehand. Barry Williams and Christopher Knight gave a truly heartwarming tour of the home. They had the bicycles thr kids rode in the backyard. They had the Brady Bunch dunk tank thing. The home had the same carpet that was used in the show. Every detail is so thought out. A lady owns this home and has done an amazing job preserving the treasured memories of this home. They are about to start doing private tours for the public. I highly recommend the tour.
