I found Dylan through Instagram and after looking at his work I knew he would be the right guy for us. Communicating with him was so easy and he was able to get us on his schedule really quick. Dylan was kind enough to meet us at our hotel and do the photo session there. I knew the photo session would be a little bit of challenge because we have a toddler who is currently going through his terrible twos, and staying still or smiling to the camera is not his forte. Dylan was so patient with our kid and tried to constantly make him smile and look at the camera. My kid was not really cooperating during the entire session, which made me think that we would probably only get like 2-3 good photos from all of us together. Fast forward five days after the session and Dylan let's me know the photos are ready. When I opened the file I couldn't believe my eyes.... there were so many amazing photos of all of us! I still can't believe how he did it, but he captured the most beautiful moments of all of us together as family. DO NOT HIRE DANIEL AS YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER…read more His work is that of an inexperienced photographer and he lacks professionalism. I share this review so that no one else is a victim of fraud by him. My fiancé and I traveled from California to Cabo in the hopes that we would have beautiful photos to announce our engagement to our family and friends. My fiancé hired Daniel and purchased the Platinum Package for $800, which included: cold beers (to help you relax before the photo session), 2-3 hour session around Cabo and San Jose, a link with all the pictures to download, a rights letter, all pictures edited, and a short video with drone shots. First, he did not have cold beers when he picked us up. He asked us whether we wanted the beers. We of course said yes as the beers were part of the package and it would be helpful to relax. So he bought 4 beers for us. After he stopped to buy the 4 beers, he drove us to three different locations. One being a deserted old mobile home park filled with dry palm trees. Why he would choose such a location when Cabo is filled with beautiful beaches and gorgeous scenery, I don't know. Then he took us to a park in the middle of town with busy streets and a ton of cars. Again, why he would choose such a location is beyond me. Lastly, he took us to a beach for our sunset photos. A few days after our photoshoot he sent us a preview of about 20 photos. I was immediately disappointed. There were so many details that he missed in most, if not all, of the photos. For example, the strings from my dress were out, there were rainbow reflections across the photos, and he took photos when my hair was completely covering my face. I let him know right away that we were not happy with our photos. His response was not one of a professional businessman. He responded by saying that he loved our photos and gave excuses for the things that I pointed out to him and said that he had hundreds of more photos. He said that he was willing to do another session with us for an ADDITIONAL $300 FEE. We decided to hope for the best on the remaining photos and opted out of paying him the additional fee. After we flew back home, he sent us a link with about 500 more AWFUL photos. Out of the 500 photos he took, there are only about 15-20 that are just okay. Many are also just repeating photos. They come nowhere near the price that my fiancé paid. In these photos: There are shadows all over my body (photos taken at sunset) The ring is not pictured in most of the photos (when the whole point of the photoshoot was the ring!) My hair is literally covering my entire face Half of my fiancé's face is cut out The wrinkles on our faces are highlighted He failed to capture our best side The package also included editing on all photos (I now realize why he offers editing since his camera takes photos of such poor quality), yet none of the photos were edited. I again reached out to him to let him know that we were very disappointed in our photos and asked him for a partial refund. He refunded 30%, but never gave us our video. He has never once apologized nor taken accountability. Overall, his work fell short of a professional photographer with 15 years of experience (as he claims to have).
