This museum has a great exhibit of roman finds from the nijmegen region. In the 1st century…read morenijmegen was on the northern border of the roman empire. The museum is not large, amd 1.5hrs should be enough time to explore... Unless you are a big fan Of roman archaelogy. The museum has changing exhibitions, next to a roman exhibit. Also suitable for children.

However, we arrived and found the museum was closed for renovations, so we went to the temporary site. The highlight of the displays was a video of the Roman times in Nijmegen, however it was only in Dutch with no subtitles. There were some other displays available, but the descriptions were only in Dutch and German. We found another video on display, which wasn't working. We were really disappointed in the town of Nijmegen and its museum.

Please don't get me wrong, we don't personally hate ALDIs. This is not a pleasure experience for my husband and me. We have seen how it has become more tacky and complicated due to a lack of work. In the bakery, there wasn't any freshness left, just a big mess! I never understand why some tea flavors had been hidden off the shelf most days. My parents-in-law love it here; they consider it their favorite grocery store!
