The only reason I am even able to give this business one star is due to the fact that the showroom is pretty and they do have a nice variety of products. Unfortunately, that is pretty much where the positives end. The staff and "designers" are less than helpful. The hours are incredibly inconvenient for people who work. Our designer never had hours available after 4:00 and they are closed on Sundays. She was incredibly slow to respond to both emails and phone calls. I reached out to her to ask her a question about specifics of the cabinet paint color. She informed me that the company doesn't release that information. Some digging and a phone call and email later I was able to get the information directly from the cabinet company. She was absolutely zero help which was disheartening considering the amount of money we spent. Lead time on cabinets was incredibly long and when cabinets did arrive the entire appliance garage was incorrect with the sides unfinished which caused yet another delay and we hosted Thanksgiving with one cabinet incomplete, which impacted the ability to complete the tile backsplash around that crown portion. There were also missing trim pieces for the island. When our designer from Studio 41 said she would have them sent, she neglected to make sure they were sent in the color that actually matched the cabinets, leaving our contractors to have to paint them to match. I have 2 family members completing remodels and I have been sure to stead them far away from Studio 41. If you are looking for quality support and designers who are communicative and know what they are doing, look elsewhere! read more

We bought extensive fixtures from the Naperville location and have had communication challenges with our salesperson, significant delays, and broken promises on delivery dates. We are in the process of a large scale kitchen remodel and I came in to Studio 41 to look at cabinet hardware. I have never experienced such poor customer service. They directed me back to the cabinet hardware where I stood for a few minutes w/no acknowledgement. One girl was helping a customer and one was on the phone, but a simple smile would have been nice, but I get it. I walk around for a while, then went back to one of the girls desk as she got off the phone. She saw me, and immediately got back on the phone and TURNED her back to me. Really? I walk out and told the "greeter" my experience, and nothing, no I'm sorry or I'll get someone to help you. I would have even waited if they said someone will be with you in a few minutes. I purchased cabinets thru Studio 41 on 3/9/22. They came damaged in early June. I was promised replacements in 2-3 weeks that were to be inspected by studio 41 prior to delivery. On 7/13 they were to be delivered, and was promised everyday after until finally delivered on 7/19. Some still had damage and none had doors or drawer fronts because Studio 41 did not order replacement doors. Again 2 weeks and I would have them. On 9/6 they came to my house with 3 damaged/warped doors. 1 drawer front came by fed ex with a sideways hole drilled into it. This is an absolute joke. I have wasted so much time an additional money. I had no kitchen for 6 weeks. Still not resolved!!! read more

We ran into an issue with delivery of a particular item that the contractor needed but had not yet come from the supplier. We worked with Katherine Kruzel and Studio 41 two years ago when we remodeled our guest bathroom. We had such a terrific experience with Katherine that when we decided to remodel our primary bedroom bathroom - we came right back to her. Katherine is extremely knowledgeable and talented - she knows the Kohler products and she has a very keen design eye. Studio 41 also offers tile and cabinet choices and Katherine helped us with it all. She has expertly designed our current bathroom remodel and we plan to work with her again in a year when we remodel our kitchen. We have lived through a number of home remodeling projects and it can be daunting. It has been great to have Katherine in our corner problem solving issues and providing great insight and advice. If you want to create your dream bathroom or kitchen, here's the place to go. All kinds of unusual sinks, hardware and bathtubs you could want to create that unique look for you! I'll admit, we stopped in because Ace Hardware recommended it, hoping we might find a magnet for the bathroom cabinet. The staff was really friendly and offered to order it if we could send a picture. Hopefully we can just find one without having to put anyone through that trouble, but it was very nice of them, and it was neat to see what they stock too! I walked in to ask a question about hinges for kitchen cabinets and they could not have been less helpful. The greeter told me the person who works in that area was busy. Since my first review, Studio 41 Naperville has contacted us and made an effort to resolve the situation to our satisfaction. As noted earlier, Omega Cabinet quality seems nice, we only a had problem with one of the cabinets - pertaining to incorrect measurements. That has now been resolved. read more

The only reason for the sole star was because the quality of Omega Cabinets we received is very good. As for Studio 41 (Naperville) everything was disappointing- Asking for 100% advance upfront, delivering an incorrectly designed Microwave cabinet, and extremely atrocious lackluster customer support from Sales Rep Danielle Johnston. Wife & I spent 15 days under stress and inconvenience as Studio 41 delivered us a "custom built" Microwave Cabinet ($760) that was only 15.5" tall inside to house a 17.5" tall Microwave And above all thru the entire process no one from Studio 41 ever said "Sorry" or agreed to fix it. In fact they expected us to hire installers to "field trim" a whole 2" from top and bottom of the cabinet. After repeated requests all we got was phone number to one of the local installer who has experience with Omega Cabinets (thank God for Jake who saved us). Please see the pictures below, one is of the original cabinet that wouldn't fit the Microwave (specifications of the Microwave were given to Studio 41 when placing the order) and second is after "trimming" (in reality it was cutting the top and bottom) as recommended by Danielle. Basically we are left with 3 wood pieces (left right back) glued together NO WAY IT'S A CABINET and after paying $760 they expected us to cough up $300 for modification. IN A NUTSHELL $1100 FOR 3 PIECES OF WOOD 24" X 18" each. This is a SCAM. Please stay far away from this business read more

I was having a hard time finding parts in stock for my kitchen and bath remodel. He was able to find all the pieces locally and delivered them himself to ensure I had them by the date I needed. The purpose of my visit was to purchase hardware for my new front. After searching online for weeks for Baldwin hardware, we were finally ready to order our hardware. This location was listed as a Preferred Vendor, so were elated to finally head all the way out to Naperville and make our purchase. The store lived up to its online presentation. However, after walking the entire store not one salesperson approached us to ask if we needed help. When we arrived at the Door Hardware section, a representative was at the desk playing on his phone. Unfortunately he wasn't able to help because he claimed he was not the expert with hardware. He was nice enough to get someone to help, but when she arrived she rudely exclaimed, "I don't have a lot of time to help you." No "Hello", no "How can I help you?" She just explained that she was also helping someone else and that I can give the guy general information about the door and he'd jot it down. Then she quickly walked away. You can imagine how deflating this experience was. We felt unimportant. We had questions about mortise locks and they didn't even had time to explain it to us. We must of had a look of shock on our face because the manager swung by to explain that the store was understaffed and to oversee things as the rookie salesman was trying his best to jot information for us. It was hard to appreciate the explanation that the other two expert hardware salespeople were off that day, because of our initial poor treatment by the saleswomen. I was blown away with all the options available to us and couldn't wrap my mind around where we should even begin! Thankfully, we were approached by Carol Gadbaw who was very knowledgeable, kind and patient. Carol always made sure we understood all our options and although she shared her many years of knowledge in the industry - she also took the time to understand what we were looking for and made it happen for us! She was also great in getting back to my MANY emails within hours and made time to meet with us and even spoke to our contractor when he had an install question! I had a great experience at Studio 41 this past July and August. I am gutting our master bath, and my contractor recommended a few places to choose fixtures etc. He specifically said I should ask for Mary McG. as he has worked with her in the past. After going to two other places, my husband and I stopped in on a weekday. I asked for Mary and she helped us with everything. She spent over 2 hours showing us things based on what I was saying my vision was. She started an estimate to capture what we were sure of, then we left. I made appointments after that because the designers are very busy. I went back with tile samples and we pulled cabinet, fixtures and all details together. I never felt rushed and Mary was open with sharing her thoughts -- I so appreciated this. My contractor picked up our order and every piece was there. It's a great store with talented people. We are quick to decide on products so the sale was very easy for Michelle M. That is as far as the service went. We needed names of installers and inadvertently walked out without the list. We called Michelle immediately and she said she would send them- no such thing. I called on Monday, and it was her day off. I left a message asking for the names, no response. My husband called and someone said they would send them to us. The individual copied it so poorly, upside down, on the computer that only 2 of the 3 names were readable. I then left further messages for Michelle regarding delivery and ended up having to speak with a manager. When we purchased the products for a new bathroom vanity, she insinuated that once it was delivered, the granite company came right out for measurements, and within a day or so, it would be cut and ready for installation. I just found out that it will be 7-10 days, if not more before it is installed. I guess once you make the sale, it no longer matters what you tell people! read more

RUN, do not walk. I would not shop at Studio 41! The manager at the showroom was rude. That was our first impression walking into the showroom. Then we met one of the kitchen designers to help us with our kitchen layout and she was Uppity. She was also the head of the cabinet division. When I plan on spending $60,000 to $70,000 on my kitchen remodel, I do not need to deal with attitudes. The pricing that I received on Cabinets, counter tops and plumbing fixtures (Kohler) was ridiculous. OVER PRICED!! I guess with all the overhead, they have no choice but to double all the pricing. My wife and I will never go back to this place. We have told so many people about our experience and they have had the same experience. Don't shop here! read more

We recently "down-to-the-studs" remodeled our master bath and master closet after almost 25 years. It was a major undertaking and we gutted most of our upstairs in order to start fresh. My first stop was with Arlene W at Studio 41. She has helped me with numerous smaller projects in the past and it has always been easy and enjoyable. Her vast product knowledge and experience is so helpful when making the many different choices all at once. I NEVER felt overwhelmed or stressed about any of my time spent working with her. Arlene has a calm friendliness about her that makes you feel like you are hanging with a girlfriend. And before you know it, you have picked out every handle, faucet, sink & tub necessary for your remodel. Arlene is patient with the decision making process giving you whatever time necessary to feel good about your choice. She even pulled samples from all over the store to lay it all out together in the same area. She was also great at explaining each company's policies and delivery expectations so there were no surprises. My contractor was thrilled to have all the ordered items delivered and ready for install on the date promised. I can't wait to remodel something else in my house, just so I can go work with her again!!! I also have to mention how friendly and helpful all the other staff were in assisting us from other departments. Definitely a 5 star location filled with 5 star staff!! read more

Walked into Studio41 on a whim last spring. We used a designer there who left the company mid project. Eric stepped in and was instrumental in keeping things on track and followed through with our issues. Despite all that, he still invited us back for our next project. Note that there are no prices on anything in the showroom which makes sticking to a budget challenging. I would probably not go with Waypoint cabinets again and would have tried the Studio41 brand cabinets on the next project but my circumstances changed. I went there during a weekday. No waiting and went straight to Chris. He is young, and so kind, understanding and helpful. He patiently spent hours helping me selecting my items, and was also very on top of delivery and exchanges. I truly appreciate his help and made it less overwhelming to get a large quantity of stuff. We purchased a very expensive lighted vanity mirror setup (and I would not purchase any Electric Mirror products again either...) from them when we do a major home remodel a couple of years ago. It was a nightmare during the process with getting the product delivered in a timely manner, with getting it delivered correctly (parts were missing), and with the cost of the shipping ($300 that was charged to us). The follow up was horrible. We have since had issues with the mirrors because of poor design. Never again. read more

Didn't understand the sales pitch I received. I have a huge master bath gut remodel and felt like no one wanted to help bc 1. I don't have a contractor lined up. I am in process of looking for one but would also like to have some design thoughts to take to a contractor. 2. I didn't have an appt w a designer. While I am unfamiliar with the operation as a whole, I can say that my experience working with the Carrie Skreens was absolutely fantastic. At first, I was hesitant to drive all the way out to Naperville to work with Carrie because there is a Studio 41 close to me in the city. However, she came highly recommended so I decided to make the trip. I could not be happier with the result. Carrie listened intently to what I wanted to achieve and provided me several options within my price point. I never felt rushed and when I made my final choice I felt very well informed. Carrie always returned all my calls within one business day and even responded to my emails on her days off! I am so glad I made the drive out to Naperville. Highly recommend! read more

So, when we remodeled our home in 2010, all of our plumbing fixtures came from these guys. Professional, knowledgable and courteous. Flash forward six years later and we are selling our home. Downstairs shower handle has a broken piece which needed to be fixed before closing in a week. Spoke to Eric, via phone, who tracked down my old order, found the replacement part needed and scheduled a repairman to come to my house and make the repair....in one day!!!! Never once, after the initial call, did I have to follow up. He was on top of this from the first minute on the phone. That just doesn't happen in today's world. It is easy to expect good service when you spend $10,000.00 on plumbing fixtures. It is far less expected six years later when you need a $5.00 part.
