He was only looking for some break screws (sorry I'm not good with car's so can't remember the technical name, lol) for his car. He found some second hand one's but there were also some new break screws which he bought for a very reasonable price. According to my boyfriend, Holyhead Motor Spares was cheaper than most other motor spares shops he's been to and he found what he was looking for instead of having to shop around. From he's experience and from what I saw; I would recommend the place. The staff are pleasant and do help you find what you are looking for.

It's right across Birmingham for us to get to but they have never offered a courtesy car when the car has gone in for service. The stereo system started playing up along with numerous other things and the car went back in the garage to be fixed, except they told us it was fixed and it wasn't till we got halfway back across Birmingham that we realised they not fixed anything at all! It has cost us a lot in petrol tooing and froing to he garage and they haven't once given us an apology. We won't be taking the car back to that garage and wouldn't buy another car from it.

Most of the time they simply offer advice (such as the time my wife left the car without petrol in it.....rather embarrassing!) but on the odd occasions they have done actual work on the car they have always been reasonable in their estimates and prices. I was amazed at the open top motors on display, shame they wouldn't take me for a drive (to Italy...) The opening hours are Monday - Friday 9am-6pm, and Saturday 10am-4pm. The service given is second to none. They know what they are talking about and give good value for money. The staff and mechanics are all very friendly and let you know what is going on as well. They also ring to let you know what has been carried out and when the vehicle is ready to be collected. They have a large indoor warehouse where the work is carried out, aswell as an outside area where completed vehicles are left ready for collection. From all types of problems such as vans not turning off, even with the key removed to vans with leaking diesel. So whatever your problem im sure these guys can sort it out for you!

The salesman was chatty and friendly and we were seen to straight away. He didn't offer a very good deal but could probably have been pulled down if we'd decided to go ahead with the deal. They always have plenty of cars both new and second hand on the forecourt to look at. These are reasonably priced.
