The absolute WORST salon experience I have EVER had. I NEVER write reviews but I could not keep…read morethis to myself. As soon as I sat down we started off on the wrong foot. The lady who scheduled my appointment booked me for all over color with NO bleach out even though I specifically said half of my hair would need to be bleached & I called twice to confirm the pricing & work that would be done. I only found out when I got to my appointment & was told by Geoni, my stylist, I was only booked for a all over color. I was told next time to use the correct term, as if I am a stylist instead of them apologizing for the mix up. At this time no price change was discussed with me until I brought it up. I was principally quoted 185 for the bleach color hair cut and an extra bowl.I had in mind I would spend around $200. I was told my stylist would discuss with me how many bowls I would need which she NEVER did so to my knowledge I only needed one bowl. When I was told my ending price would be around $350 I ultimately decided to not let her continue & asked her to stop before the color, For the bleach and 3 extra bowls that were "needed" Geoni wanted to charge me $193. When I asked to speak to the owner they said she left & Naika called her. They offered no compromise or apologies for the mix up & was told by Naika that the owner said "$193 is where we are at so either pay or we will call the cops. We discussed some more about the events that lead to the mix up and never ONCE did I hear we're sorry we booked you wrong or I am sorry for the mix up. It was only after Geoni called the cops & told them we were walking out which we were NOT (recorded this but can't post videos with the review) that the owner lowered the price to $158. They also kept saying that they did not give me a set price that they said starting at which is not true because I called twice to confirm the price. I asked if they record the calls which they said they do not. Geoni went I believe to speak with someone on the phone & when she came back she said "we do have cameras and record the calls and no one ever told you a set price, you were told a starting price and if you were it was for the all over color" so which is it? was I given a set price or not? When the cops got there though they changed the story & said they do not record the calls that they only have cameras that can capture what is said at the front desk. I ended up paying the $158 & left with the absolute worst experience ever DO NOT recommend. Below are pictures of how I left, my receipt & the two calls I made. I ended up going to another salon, ALICIA'S SALON where I paid total of $110 + $10 tip for color, shampoo, conditioning, treatment, hair cut & styling which she left absolutely amazing! (Pic below)10/10!! I did asked if I could discuss this with the owner on Tuesday, when she would be back, since I did not hear from her during this and Naika said Candace did not want me back there & they would call me Tuesday after reviewing footage to see if I am entitled for a refund which I know will not happen because they only offered this compromise once the cops were there before that I was shut out & told pay $193 and threatened with calling the cops. I do take part responsibility because I should have asked for a third time what the final price would be but my mind was occupied on why was the appointment not book correct and if I would even be getting my hair done because Geoni said she would have to check first to see if she had time & she also said they only had one bottle of the red & it might not be enough. So why even book me if when I called I asked for bright vivid red. I even asked if there is an upcharge for vivid colors. I also did not think it would be a huge price difference for adding bleach for half of my hair. Not once did ANYONE in that salon apologize for their mistake, Naika & Geoni only put the blame on me saying I should have asked how many bowls I need as if I am a stylist & know their process, after I was told SHE would discuss that with ME & to use the correct term next time.

I reached out to Harlee a few weeks ago to book a last minute appointment and we missed each other…read more I came in today after a month of nursing a horrible haircut and dealing with the fallout. a month later and it was Well worth the wait! I am honestly shocked that she isn't booked all the time. we arrived on time, the location was easy to find, the space was welcoming and had a really comfortable and welcoming vibe! Harlee herself was very easy to talk to and get to know, but all of that is just the opening to one of the best cuts I've ever had! After a warm welcome, we started on a plan, I gave her my goals and ideas and she asked clarifying questions to make sure that she got the details locked in. The cut was done quickly and it perfect! I know she did an absolutsly phenomenal job on my hair and my friends hair. Mine a scissor cut with plans to grow, his, a fade. This girl is good, consistent, and amazing. Would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for someone who communicates well and has a genuine desire to help you look your best. Thanks Harlee, see you again soon!

DO NOT GO HERE! shes unclean and unprofessiona!!! and can't do extensions!!! came in to get my…read moreextension reinstalled and as soon as I got in the car i noticed one of the extensions was already lose and poking out, gave the benefit of the doubt bc I could fix it when I got home until the very next day when a whole row came out and then they all started to lose beads and fall out, I message her and send her pictures for a refund bc I had to go get them completely redone. Mind u I also only requested a partial refund at first when it was only that one row until it was all of them! and nothing she completely ghosted me. the person who redid my extensions said she had no idea what she was doing they were not installed correctly and the beads were so cheap they were breaking as she was taking them out. and her appointment etiquette was terrible. She told me her day was completely free and then had two people booked during my appointment. one lady had to wait on her for over 30mins and she has the audacity to complain that she was upset about having to wait. oh and to add to all of it her cleanliness was awful she took my cape off to use on a different client , after she cut his hair (with no dispo paper in between the cape and neck) she tried to put it back on me which I politely refused. I had his hair all over me when I left because she didn't wipe down the chair after he left. she was dropping stuff on the ground that she had not swept from his hair cut then using it on me. and not to mention how ruff she was on my extensions I noticed when she was drying them how much they shed and broke off and were super dry (mind you I've used this brand of extension for a while and they don't shed a whole lot and are very soft and full) I didn't say anything trying not to be rude, but obviously I should have bc now I'm out of money and time and will soon have to get new extension which is also more money out of my pocket because of this experience. needless to say, she should be lucky I'm not a terrible person and only leaving a review bc I could report this to TDLR!
