I then got up and offered to help move her scooter. I assisted her with finding an outlet and plugging it in to get it charging, but something wasn't working right with her charger. My name got called to then go back for my appointment and I walked up to the woman who was the receptionist and asked if she could help the older woman out. The receptionist clearly saw me helping her before, looked at me and said nothing, and got up, very annoyed to then go and try to help the woman. I even told the medical assistant about it, as she asked me if the woman needed help, and she thanked me for letting her know, so it sounded as if they might have issues with this woman frequently. I used TMJ mouth guards, underwent surgery for discs in my jaw and used botox on the muscles in my head, but these treatments did not relieve my pain or allow me to open my mouth beyond 1/3 of the normal range. I took 2 Excedrin every morning for years until they started to give me stomach issues. So, I cut down to taking Excedrin two or three times a week. I sought medical help for my headaches for years without any results. Then I was referred to Jason Kaufman. Jason Kaufman is a chiropractor that developed his own method of treatment. It turns out the connected muscles in my shoulders and neck were causing all of the referred pain in my jaw and head. Jason was able to release the muscles and the pain is now gone. On my first call, I made sure with the receptionist that Dr. Suber was taking new patients. For both calls, I was advised that the two appointment setters were on other calls. The receptionist took my phone number and general information, and said that someone would call me back. We're almost at two weeks, and no call back. Clearly they don't value the business. Good for them if they don't need any new clients, but it certainly doesn't show value for the individual to not even call back...after two calls! At this point, I don't want to go to your office...I already know how your practice treats clients. Side bar: I was referred by a friend who sees him, and said that he is very direct, and matter-of-fact, though his bedside manner may be lacking. I will never know.
