I hate to say this but the young ladies that work at this location have horrible customer service skills. No personality whatsoever and I couldn't order a combo because the soda machine was broken. And a host of other things I saw that was trifling. I'm on this beach often and thought I would try "eating fresh" but to my surprise the food isn't as fresh as they promote it to be The manager is walking around with her belly out and walking on the back of her shoes like she's at home. Although my food wasn't bad. The customer service and presentation needs work. Come on people. Do better. Side note: There's actually two of the workers walking around this shop on the back of their shoes making a bunch of racket. . I can't ‍ read more

Subway - Your favorite "sammich shop" - Sandwiches Near Me - Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Extremely disappointing experience -- twice. I'm staying nearby and gave this Subway a second chance, but I regret it. The first time I visited, I was met with rude customer service. I gave the benefit of the doubt because it was the day of a parade and thought maybe the staff was overwhelmed. However, I returned today (around 9:30 AM), and it was even worse. Despite opening at 8:00 AM, I was told I couldn't get any breakfast sandwiches because the oven "wasn't heated yet." Nearly an hour and a half after opening? That's unacceptable. Even more frustrating was the attitude from the staff. No greeting, just dirty looks. When one employee asked another to help me, she looked me up and down with a snarky expression and made me feel completely uncomfortable. After ringing me up, she walked away without a word, leaving me to finish the payment process on my own. To top it off, both workers had AirPods in and kept saying "huh?" when I spoke -- how can you provide customer service if you can't even hear the customer? Unprofessional and unwelcoming!!!! read more

If I could give this place a negative 10 I would! Being that it is located at beach place and under Marriott, this is the most horrible subway I have ever been to! Shame on management to allow this type of service to be rendered in this location. Walked in around 830pm - lady working was on her phone in speaker mode talking to someone. Glared at us as we walked in like we interrupted her. She didn't hang up. When we were about to it to order she stated they didn't take credit card. So with me not having any cash, I told her I'd make an online order. Lo and behold the store was not accepting any online orders .... This place was empty and she has no intentions of serving anyone. This place is HORRIBLE. I DO NOT RECOMMEND SPENDING ANY OF YOUR MONEY AT THIS LOCATION read more

Food was fine but the service was absolutely terrible. The only person that greeted me was the security guy that doesn't even make the sandwiches. The lady making my sandwich didn't say anything to me when I would ask for a drink or things on my sandwich. So rude read more

This a typical Subway. The same as most others around the country. It is small tho with maybe two little tables if you want to dine in.

Absolutely disgusting. I came in to order and the toppings all looked old. Especially the lettuce it looked like garbage. On top of that it looks unsanitary overall. The employees were just sitting in the back chilling. Like they had nothing to do. When the toppings obviously needed replenishing.... read more

The worst service I've ever experienced. The girl at the counter didn't even say hi or ask anything. She just kept looking at us as if saying: " what do you want..." She finally made the two sandwiches in 10 minutes without saying a word. When we went to sit and eat outside, she just locked the doors and went out walking for 15 minutes. The owners must be very desperate to hire her. read more

They seem to be running a childcare out of the back room. Loud screaming children in the back room. I guess it was bring your kids to work day!!!!! Hope the owner reads. Service was not great. Couldn't hear because the lobby music was way too loud. Employees assume that everyone has their menu memorized and they are short and not very welcoming. When choosing toppings after every item "she" kept saying is that all. I was patient, but cannot stand the way that people in the service industry complain about the pay and aren't even doing the basics right. It's not that hard! I love how every place has a tip jar and a tip screen for all purchases from these places. Someone needs to explain gratuity to these people. It's not part of the bill! read more

walked in there and stood there waiting to be served while the girl was sitting down on her cellphone. Mind you we were the only people there. the girl who closed on 10/28/24 needs to be fired. when I spoke to her she didn't even answer me, apparently what was on her phone was more important then a job. we walked out . shame on whoever runs this business and allows this type of behavior to happen. this place doesn't even deserve 1 star read more

I sometimes eat at Subway. Yes, it's true! I even downloaded the app. Their healthiest option? A veggie-packed breakfast flatbread with lean protein and just the right amount of good-for-you fats. Yup! When ordering off the menu, I always get the Egg on Flatbread for breakfast; then request egg whites in place of eggs, skip the cheese, and add avocado instead. Load it up with veggies like Spinach and Tomatoes. I always pack packages or cans of Tuna in my bag when traveling, so I always add it on my flatbread. (The one that they use at Subway has light mayo, so probably not a good choice. So I always pack my own that I get from the market) Who says it's hard to eat healthy while you're on the road? read more

I saw this poor Subway had low reviews, but I was staying in the Marriott upstairs and just wanted something quick and thought, "How bad can they really mess up Subway?". Overall I did not have any issues, the girls working there were pleasant and there was not much of a line. In the end it was Subway, they are the same pretty much everywhere you go. read more

This is another bad place. I think it's best to avoid the fast food chains in this area. I noticed a girl sitting outside on her phone when we walked in. I didn't realize she actually worked there untill she came in after we waited for a while. Everything we wanted they didn't have and the pickles looked grey!! She drenched our sandwich in mayo and mustard so it was the messiest thing to try to eat on the beach. Just get a sandwich from the small kiosk on the first floor, order something to go from the many awesome restaurants or bring your own goodies. I feel like these chains don't have employees that care to be there. Avoid these places so you can truly enjoy your time in FL. read more

Subway - Paid the food and didn't receipt the food. - Sandwiches Near Me - Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Please avoid this Subway at all costs. The Subway is in a sketchy patch of Ft. Lauderdale. I felt like I was in Druid Hills of Baltimore for a second. The Gallery of the Beach is an outdated ruins of a strip mall. The bathrooms in the Gallery at the Beach have holes in the walls and the walls are oozing with dirt and grime. The entire establishment looks like it would be a good fit for Syria. The place either needs to be bulldozed or at the very least renovated. The Subway was conveintly located on the 2nd floor across from a dive bar.The personnel at Subway were equally as "ratchet" as the building. The employees working at the Subway are about a bright as a 5W light bulb. I should have listened to my intuition that this place was nothing but a hub for wayward teenaged punks looking for trouble. The lady making the subs was rude so I was rude right back to her. Should I have let her take her frustrations out on me because she hates her job? I noticed she was talking on her phone while making my sub. I noticed after paying for my sub that she didn't hand me a cup. I asked here for a cup and she expressed to me that I should pay for the beverage first. I expressed to the young lady that I mentioned purchasing chips and a soda with my sub several times. I quickly found a seat with my friend and started digging into my freshly made sub. I noticed a group of teenagers approaching the Subway. I noticed that the young ladies working in Subway were talking to this group of young men. A young man approached my table in a hostile manner shortly after walking into the Subway. The young man used several racial slurs to describe me and my friend. He also expressed how I didn't want to mess with him because I would come up missing. I left shortly there after because I was not looking to go to jail on vacation. I ended up going to a much classier place down the street because I didn't feel safe to finish my sub. I do not expect gourmet service and food at subway or anything of that sort. However, I do feel that I should at least have decent service and a safe environment to dine. read more

I like the Subway chain, and I visit frequently. But this location is the worst I've been to. This subway was really awesome, I don't kno why it has a low review. The two employees were really nice, professional, and funny. They were talking about some food they got from hooters and even offered me some. The store was very clean, and of course it smelled like the mouth watering bread. This location was even cheaper than the one near my job in plantation which was surprising! For a lighter choice in food when you want lunch at the beach and to keep ur wallet happy, I would go back to this subways. read more

Probably the worst Subway I have ever been to and I eat at Subways a lot. 2 young kids working there that could give 2 craps about service. I ordered a turkey chopped salad and they put all the ingredients together (bare minimum) and poured it in one of their plastic containers. I asked them if they were going to chop it up and they said they don't have any of the items for chopping it. Than why offer chopped salads??!!! I asked if I could get a cup for water and they said they don't have ant water cups??!! If I could give zero or negative stars, I would. I promise I will never return to this Subway. I should have read all the reviews. read more

Absolutely terrible. Subway is subway, right? You know what you're getting. Not with this one. For one, I've never met a friendly employee there. Ive never received a greeting, a thank you, any sort of appreciation for your business. The two young ladies were talking about their sexual exploits while making my sandwich. Kids were around and could hear their foul language. Extremely sloppy putting the sandwich together. And the vegetables were not as fresh as I would've hoped (browning lettuce) read more

I've been to thousands of Subway sandwich shops and this one is by far the worst. First, there was one person making sandwiches with eight people in line. Guess the owner doesn't want to make money. Second they were out of all kinds of bread and some of their primary sandwich fixings. This was at 11 o'clock in the morning. After waiting 30 minutes to find out they didn't have anything, I left. Do not come here to eat. First of all, they charge more money per sandwich, since it's a tourist location. Furthermore, they are miserable in every single thing that comes with your sandwich ( vegetables, sauces etc). After they take away your money with a skinny sandwich.. read more

If 0 stars was an option, that's what this sad excuse for a subway would receive. After walking in to the store the first time, I realized that there was only one person was working, and they were clearly under staffed and quite busy. Later that day I went back to buy a sub, only to find that there was still only one person working, however there wasn't much of a line. The one worker there then proceeded to tell me to come back later because he had been working 4 whole hours with out a break, and he "needed a smoke." I asked him what his boss would think about turning down customers, and he told me that he didn't really care. Horrible attitude. Save yourself the time and money. read more

The employees at this location don't care about customer service. Refuse to honor posted sandwich prices. In fact the manager covered the price I should have been charged while I was debating my case. Because they were out of fountain coke, tried to charge me $2 for a cup of ice for the bottle coke that was substituted. Argumentative, non-caring. No wonder on a bright sunny day no one eats here. Spend your money at the Jimmy Johns, about 2.5 blocks south. This frequent customer just became a non-customer. read more

The food was typical Subway. However, the staff needs to attend Subway's customer service school. Not friendly. The one who attended to our order was, just, o.k. When another customer walked in, another staff came in from the back room, looking at her cell phone. She asked the new customer what he wanted, with out looking up from her cell phone. Once, told what he wanted, she still took her time prior to working on his order. She gave us the impression that her cell phone was more important than the customer. Actually, her cell phone was more important than her cell phone. My recommendation: Go to another place to get your food. This place does not want to be bothered by your purchase. read more

Loud, inattentive employees. One employee was on the telephone screaming at another employee while customers waited. Horrible experience!!

Was here for a work trip and almost every place on the strip is an expensive sit down restaurant. Terrible service. Allow plenty of time for a sandwich. They asked how to make a veggie sandwich. Really?

This subway was dirty and the workers were rowdy with customers in the line. The bread tasted like styrofoam and the lettuce made me and my two friends sick.
