I said, 'you're charging us a quarter for a cup of water?' Yup. Now, it's not about the quarter, but it appears to be really cheesy compared with others in the fast food space. The barbecue is about as good as it gets for a chain restaurant, and the meal is miles better than any McSad's you would go to. The cheddar bites could be better, but they're still about Wayback Burgers quality of food which isn't a bad thing at all. If this is how your typical Cook Out gets, then you got a good regional chain anytime you make a trip to the South.

If sauce is to be added, please don't try to add enough sauce to overpower (or maybe soak?) the dry, leathery patty. Just get a fresh patty and use that one. Yes, it's fast food. Yes, you should try to work with expediency. No, you should not do so to create a mess in creating, wrapping, and packing the food. While you may have decent shakes, I remind you that Sonic and Dairy Queen are far, far too close for you to rest on your laurels at better service.
