He has a noticeably different approach -- calm, attentive, and genuinely customer-focused. His attitude and the way he interacts with customers make the whole experience feel more comfortable and positive. To be honest, if it had been some of the other staff, I probably would've just grabbed a bottle of Coke and left. I stumbled upon Mr Collins which seemed to be bustling, which is always a good sign in terms of taste. Instead of receiving warm and friendly service though I was met with a really abrupt waitress. So much for trying to relax. I ordered & paid for my food and sat down to wait for my food. All of a sudden, bang and one of the waiters dropped a whole tray of cups. Not that I cared but the waitress simply made a comment without helping the poor guy. My egg and bacon padino came and it was not too bad for $6.50. The egg was nicely runny and the bread was crispy. I think their ordering system is a bit haphazard though because while I was eating my food the waitress started to chase after this customer telling them quite abruptly they must pay on the way out because they can't keep track. Really, it's the cafe's problem not the customers. As I paid before sitting down I hoped they weren't gonna chase after me cos they couldn't keep track of who paid and who hasn't! Yikes!
