Having been scared off Subway a few years back due to a bad experience and finding healthier options elsewhere I hadn't been there for a while. And then a few weeks ago I was in the city late and at 9:30, rushing to Melbourne Central sniffed that all familiar subway smell. I was starved and seeing they were empty and the smell was beckoning me, I went inside. And the BMT I got was extraordinary! I didn't even get a chance to eat until I got home (20 mins by train), and it still tasted fresh and delicious. Tip, get your BMT toasted, I did and it's great! I've since been back two times and ordered the same and all times have been better than the last. They don't take over from a brilliant meal at the nearby Soul Café or Melbourne Vietnamese Noodle House; however if you're in a hurry and need a bite on the run or to go and you're venturing past, be assured you might be pleasantly surprised!

The smooth milky taste of mild berries at the right 40 percent strength just worked wonders. I really hit the nail on the head this time. It was not perfect not 5 outta 5 however, this was a solid 4.2/5. A high quality experience at McDonalds today and I would recommend anyone to give the Grimace Shake a first try out.

Service depends on what time you usually get there. I recommend any time before 3 and after 4 because lots of students from Glen Waverley Primary and Secondary head there and take some carpark. The atmosphere was good: it has a play centre for children, nicely refurbished decor and seating. Sometimes they can be quite annoying but for the most of it they did a great job in most aspect! And one last reminder - be careful if you arrive around 3PM - 4PM on weekdays (Monday to Friday)

The pricing for some meals are extremely here. Formerly, things were far cheaper. Example the soft serve, sundae and any burger meal. Also I sense there is a downfall in cleanliness and service at McDonald's. Sometimes staff forget certain items or the place has been trashed around. McDonald's has had a good reputation for a while but these small issues avert it from being a top fast food. Overall the food here is good but there are some minute details I have which effect the overall score
