Horribly slow here ‍ it took 15 minutes to get my order after waking in. There was only one guy in front of me too.

After reading some pretty scary reviews of feasible food options in Fort Stockton and in Ozona we hesitantly stopped here just because 1 reviewer said this was the only clean n fresh place for 500 miles haha So glad we listened to that yelp reviewer bc this Subway wasn't bad at all. No flies, clean restrooms, very friendly staff all worked on our 5 footlongs n even the water tasted fine, no funky after taste. All that matters if you are roadtripping and don't want food poison to ruin your vacation with little ones. Yes there's a drive thru here too. But staff was so courteous and prompt. There was a line but they made our sandwiches quickly albeit some lettuce and stuff wasn't the freshest but hey no flies and no stomach problems after. And they did cover their veggies which was a good sign :) Great option vs other fast food stops after this that reviewers have commented about flies, dirty poopy restrooms and incompetent workers. Will take this Subway any day.

The wait time in drive through is a little rough...but the one in Lubbock, is no different. Food was fresh and good and staff was friendly.

Stopped by during a road trip. It is a drive through but they are pretty slow (they didn't have customers inside either).

Though small and quiet, this little grill puts out really good food. My daughter kept it simple with a dry cheeseburger. It comes with a side of fries that are cooked fresh, but maybe needed some time to breathe or dash a little bit of salt. The burger was cooked really well though. Noah enjoyed his carne asada tacos. Liz ordered the Potosino nachos, which were like a loaded nachos. Loaded means it came with beans, grill d tomato and jalapeno, thin slices of skirt steak, and cheese. It looked good, and I grabbed a few at the begining. I really enjoyed my Potosino plate. It was the same thing slices of skirt steak, grilled onion, jalapeno, and tomato that was on the nachos, but my plate came with Spanish and refried beans. (Same as Noah's kid taco plate). So, why the 3? It's a small place, and the dining area can be overwhelmed by a rush. Though the folks that knew were just getting food to go. There's about 7 tables/booths for 4 each, and it got crowded right after we sat down and ordered. Hey, if I can't get my coffee refilled without asking, well... Overall, I did enjoy the food. The place was clean and comfortable. It was the lack of speedy service was on no way a deal killer, but when you're on the EP to SA road trip time management can matter. Check it out if you're stopping in Ozona.

We wanted a sit down place to stop and take a break, plus be served. You can miss this place. A bright yellow building, many cars out front and notably a hub for hungry people! Came in about 45 minutes before they closed. Service was nice and efficient with a humble, friendly atmosphere. Complementary chips served in a bowl, with an unusual warm salsa to start. My husband & I both got the chicken enchiladas, The chicken was in small chunks and was moist, but the cheese inside made it even better. Could have been a homemade queso? It was creamy and delicious. The rice and beans were piping hot and the enchiladas bubbling when presented. Flavors more of a Sonoran style, but very good. The prices were fair for what they offer. However, we got a side of pico ' it came in a small 2 oz container that wasn't full for $2. Menu doesn't have combo options which was kinda disappointing, but overall we were happy with this little spot we stopped!

Our server was very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable about their menu, which eased our minds. Portions were generous and reasonably priced. The food was tasty. Wish they served margaritas. So, when we…read morestopped at this dusty, unassuming cafe attached to a motel, we weren't feeling all too hopeful about the food but we were hungry and wanted to sit at a table to eat and give the local fare a try. There's a covered patio with a few tables in the front and a couple large tables that could each easily fit eight people, and a small 2-top. They brought us out complimentary chips and salsa. What a nice surprise. The chips were warm and the salsa was delicious-- bright, flavorful, and with just the right amount of kick (mild heat but not too spicy; your three-year-old might not be a fan but my husband who doesn't normally like too spicy enjoyed it). I ordered my staple whenever I visit a diner/cafe for the first time-- the Patty Melt with mustard and mayo on the side (this condiment combination on the side is winning with a patty melt, btw ). They offer all the veggies with it but I just ordered mine with sautéed onion. The food took a little bit but we weren't in a hurry and when it came out it was nice and hot. My Patty Melt was served on a buttery grilled Texas Toast with a side of fries and it was oh so good. Loved the variation of Texas Toast in place of Rye bread. It was seasoned well and both classic and unique. Made with love! The fries had a good balance of crispy and soft inside. My husband and son ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger and were really happy with it. My husband said that it tasted like a "Texas Burger." Doesn't that say it all, though. The women working inside were kind and welcoming. They chatted with us and were helpful whenever we asked questions about the menu. They gave us a sweet Texas goodbye on our way out and told us to drive carefully like sweet Texas mamas do. My only critique would be that the bathroom needed some attention but, besides that, our experience was good and we wouldn't hesitate to stop in again knowing the folks are kind and will feed ya' well.
