Over priced food and favoritism to their employees that are there longer than new employees never stepping foot in Princeton Subway again

I ordered my food then when I got it it wasn't what I wanted. I was on my way back home which is a 3 hour drive so I didn't want to turn back around. I called the store and they said they wouldn't have a manager on duty until 2pm on Monday. I work at dominos and we always have a manager on duty. I wouldn't have minded if they would've at least said something that would've actually helped, but they didn't. Never again will I go here. read more

We are regular customers and have always had good service & sandwiches. I also order platters from them regularly for my staff.

I love subway normally and they do a great job making sandwiches, but it was a horrible visit tonight. None of our orders were correct, we had sandwiches uncut, we had missing toppings, the sandwiches we wanted toasted weren't toasted and the sandwiches we didn't want toasted were toasted. I am very upset with the service we had tonight! When I went in to get my missing sandwiches the workers looked at me like I was speaking a different language it took the supervisor to come over and tell them what to do to get me my missing sandwich. I am very disappointed and will not be going to this location anytime soon. read more

I was in here about 2 months ago and I ordered my usual BLT with mayo and jalapenos (at the drive thru). When I got home I opened up my sandwich and all that was on it was mayo, bacon and jalapenos. I thought okay they made a mistake, so I call the location where I went and asked about my sandwich. She told me that I have to ask for lettuce and tomatoes when ordering a BLT (which I've done a thousand times without a problem). Even if that was the case, they should have asked me, didn't it seem odd to be making a sub with nothing but bacon, mayo and peppers??? That's like ordering a meatball sub and having to ask for meatballs. Anyway I asked the gal if I could talk to a manager about this because I didn't believe her. I was told that there's never a manager working on the weekend. Now that cannot be true either, but okay maybe it is. I didn't want to make a big stink over it so I just dropped it. Now, I go there today and order a BLT the same way as I always do. It was around 3:30 in the afternoon so there was only one other couple in the restaurant. I ordered a foot long and just to be safe I spelled out everything that I wanted on my sandwich. When my sandwich came out, it was correct except it was a 6" and not a foot long. How hard must it be to get an order correct when you're as slow as it gets? It took a good 5 minutes to get my first 6" and another 5 minutes to get the second half. It very obvious that the younger girls working there were too busy talking and laughing to even get a simple order correct. I didn't order anything but the sandwich. At least throw in a cookie or something. If I were the owner of this location, I would not be very happy with the quality of employees lately. Now let's fast forward about 2 months. This evening I finally decided to go back to this Subway because I'm so health conscience and I figured what's the chance my order will be totally wrecked once again. So, as I get to the drive thru window I wait for one of those normally giggly teenage girl voices and when it finally comes across the intercom I ask for a BLT with bacon please. She laughed and said a BLT automatically comes with bacon. I quickly explained to her about my trouble in the past and she thought that was crazy. She told me you never have to ask for 1. Bacon 2.Lettuce and 3. Tomatoes on a BLT sandwich. I agreed and proceeded to place my order. Now, I get my order in a somewhat timely manner compared to what I've experienced in the past and I continue on my 7 mile journey home. Upon arrival at my house I immediately go to the dining room to devour my foot long BLT that my mouth is ever so watering for. As I unwrap my sandwich I have the strangest feeling that something terrible is about to happen. Are you ready for this????? I did in fact receive a foot long, that is positive. All that was on this foot long was bacon, mayo and jalepeno peppers. I couldn't believe my eyes. No lettuce, No tomatoes??? Even after the discussion with the girl taking my order they still butchered my sandwich. I am writing this to warn anyone who feels the need to stop at the Subway located in Princeton Minnesota. You better write down your order on a piece of paper and hand it to the employee taking your order and then still check it when you get it or there's a 100% chance that it will be wrong. I will not give this joke of a Subway location any more of my business ever again. Sorry Princeton MN Subway. You've had more than enough chances to get a simple sandwich order correct. I guess that's just way to much to ask of a sandwich restaurant. P.S. - This is a 100% true story of my experience at this Subway location. Food quality is fresh like any other Subway but the staff is completely unfriendly and they mess up your order 9 out of 10 times on drive thru orders. I go here 2 to 3 times a week and prefer to use drive thru because I have small kids but now I have to go in so my order is correct!!!!! Very frustrating! And if someone orders a salad put a darn fork and napkin in the bag!!!!! read more

The A Team was not working when we were in yesterday. I ordered a sandwich with oil and vinegar- which they left off, but slathered in mayo. I pointed that out, but said it would do since we were in a hurry. No apology was given. We asked if there were napkins in the bag (ordered 4 sandwiches. ) they said yes- and no napkins were available in the counter. We opened the bag later and found a single napkin. I don't expect much from Subway- a decent sandwich made my way. This one needs to pick up their game. read more

I don't understand why anyone would complain about this store. I've never had a problem with food or staff. Maybe it's the high horsed people that don't understand the stress that comes with a minimum wage fast food job bending over backwards to keep ungrateful customers from receiving a single shred of lettuce from touching their spinach only sandwich.
