Orders always 99% wrong/ missing and no way to contact anyone to get refunds or replace items but it's unfortunately the only one in our delivery catchment. Like how is it the UBER drivers/ Ubers fault when the dumb ass staff get the orders wrong all the time? Like there isn't a brain cell between the people they employ let alone the management couldn't manage their way out of a McDonald's paper bag. Theres no way either of those are not true after the repeated issues coming out of there. It's needs some serious help, it's not even like Watfords crazy buzzing anymore?? And the lack of ways to communicate are on purpose to stop you trying to get a refund? Train your staff then? 2 apple pies mean 2 apple pies or a latte is not a hot chocolate? How is that our problem? And the points? Don't do it - they don't work on the self service and when you use them on the App most of the items get left out of the delivery (or is it just the Watford HS treatment again? Who knows.

Give your money somewhere else where the manager actually knows what he's doing rather than a jumped up tw*t who has no idea how to even speak proper English, let alone his ability to actually be a manager. Granted, I knew the quality back then wasn't great but it was much healthier than the other stuff students tend to eat. Fast-forward nearly a decade (gulp) and I had a craving that meant I literally ate here every day one week. It's hasn't changed at all. The decor is exactly the same and so are the ingredients. Apart from the addition of a strange flat-bread (which is terrible by the way as it doesn't hold the fillings in properly) and more choice in cookies. Service here is prompt and depending on who you get, they really know how to stuff in the ingredients. Happy to add more onions or jalapeños at your request. The £3 lunch for a sub + soft/hot drink isn't a bad deal, but I remember when they offered crisps in the deal a few years back. Anyway, had it for a week and am now over the nostalgia and cravings. So back to home-made and Vietnamese food on Leather Lane!

There's only two tables to eat at should you want to eat in, and the counter is slightly shorter than normal so there isn't a proper glass divider between the meat and the salad. So worthy of a three star review, simply because there's nothing especially good or particular bad about the branch.

It's unusually spacious for Pret: the single large room has a seating area to the left, and two queuing areas to the right (the counter has eight tills). Service is usually pretty good, despite the fact it's often very busy indeed at lunchtime. It loses a star for me as it's not really a place to linger - and the outside seating is particularly unpleasant as the pavement is narrow, very busy - and it's on a very busy road. Who wants to eat a sandwich while being jostled by passers by and breathing traffic fumes? They'd be better off not bothering.

However, my excuse is that as a part time evening student at the University of Greenwich it is hard to find other places in the area that serve warm food in the early evening where you don't feel completely weird sitting on your own. And hey, it has to be at least a little bit healthier than MacDonald's, right? As for this Subway itself, the variety of warm sandwiches is enough to keep one going for a few hours and they are a fair price especially if you get the meal deal which comes with a soft drink and crisps. There are a number of seats upstairs (I wish the same was true in the nearby M&S Simply Food!) and no one bothers you if you are there for longer than it takes to eat your sandwich while you look through your notes before class.
