I'm a three strikes kinda shopper. Last two times our sandwich's have been all wrong to which they said they would redo. A++ there but I'm not driving 15min for a $6.99 sub redo. Hercules online hours said open till 9:30. I got there at 8:25 and door locked. Pinole online said open till 9:00. It was 8:40 and store was dark. Rodeo online said open till 9:00. It was 8:50. Store was open, very clean and great, friendly service. The server's beautiful attitude made up for my frustration at the other two stores. read more

Came in today to order sandwiches for the entire family. Their store was very clean, bread and cookies were being freshly baked while I was there and seen them coming out of the oven, and the gentleman and lady working were soo very friendly and accomodating to my requests. The sandwiches were delish and is enough for lunch and dinner. I prefer this location over the Hercules Subway, just because the customer service here is much more welcoming. read more

The owner of Subway use to own the one in Hercules. I have tried this Subway because the owner use to own the Hercules one and it has been years since I seen him. Location of this Subway is in a dying shopping center in Rodeo next to Safeway. I wish business in that shopping center was better. The owner remembers me in the 1990s when I use to bike from home to Subway. Service at Subway is good. This place is usually very good we've went here since it's closest to us. When the owners there and you have a coupon he's going to find a way to make you pay what you would've without it. They are nice but jipping me out of half of my sandwich isn't worth the good customer care. I'd rather go somewhere with rude people that actually GIVE ME MY FOOD I PAID FOR!!!! I've been going to subway for years. Looked for the closest subway near me and this location popped up Ordered a foot long tuna and as the short lady applied the tuna to the bread, she asked me if I wanted extra tuna. I was never asked this before.. ever. I looked at the foot long and noticed she put a thin layer of tuna on the bread. I was like WTF? I said go ahead and put extra tuna. She said "it will cost more". I asked how much more? She replied, ..."it will just cost more" I tell her just leave it the way it is. As I wait in line to pay, Cashier is trying to upsell a soup to a customer who just ordered a sandwich. Customer said no. Cashier then asked her, drink? Chips? Wtf!! If she wanted it she would have asked for it. I grew up eating subway so it always has a special place in my heart despite all the new restaurants and eateries we have nowadays. Because of the pandemic and because most locations near me have really bad reviews, usually 1-2 stars, i hesitate to go whenever I'm craving for it. That is until I saw this rodeo location which has four stars, a very rare find. I visited today and I have to say this is the cleanest subway I've seen in a while. Very organized and neat. They keep the door wide open too so good airflow. I pay with Apple pay so there was absolutely no contact at all other than picking up the food. The guy who helped us was very nice and friendly. I noticed he also washed his hands and put on gloves before coming to help us. The small details mean a lot. I will definitely frequent this location whenever I crave for subway now even though it's not that close to where I live. read more

A LITTLE stingy with the meat!? It's worse than a measured shot. I bet if you got a scale a 1/2 foot sub would contain 3 oz. of meat. Even if you upgrade on the Avocado it's like they're measuring to Walter White standards. Ugh! If you get a ham, turkey and cheese sandwich, they dole out 1 slice of turkey cut in 1/2, one slice of ham, cut in 1/2 and one slice of cheese, cut in 1/2. It's all bread, no meat- and count on a lot of lettuce and tomato for filler if you go for those toppings. This is like a Subway sweatshop. The couple that runs it and their kids are so cute, as well as the nice woman they have added to the staff. You guys keep doing your thing! HOWEVER, there seems to be a franchise overlord who pulls up in his Lexus to inspect their portion control program during lunch pretty regularly. This location sucks. Sadly, on a quarterly basis I have to submit to my stomachs needs since it's so close to my bank. But please, cheap owner. We have choices, and I will choose another Subway. read more

AVOID THIS PLACE IF YOU CAN if you want value for your hard earned money. These people are just outright cheating their customers, and spoiling SUBWAY brand reputation. On a 6", expect 4-5 pieces of olives, 2-3 pieces of capsicum, 2-3 pieces of banana peppers, 4-5 strands of red onion and some lettuce. I got this when I said everything except tomatoes. When I asked to add more of everything, the sweet lady/gentleman there added 1-2 pieces more of each. No Cucumber No Spinach And sauces, 1 thin line of whatever sauce/mayonnaise you've asked for.
