They were especially helpful because we can't speak French very well and they helped with translations. Everyone eating was smiling and happy the restaurant had a very good positive atmosphere. Although we didn't have kids it was obvious that they welcomed children. Wonderful! If we are ever in Rouen again we will dine there.

First, it's not even clams - it's cockles, which technically means it can't even be called vongole. Second, there was so much sand suggesting very little cleaning was done. And finally the taste of the dish itself was bland AF. Boyfriend had the tagliatelle bolognese and said "you make this better at home" - which doesn't say much because it's sauce out of a jar (but at least I use fresh pasta noodles).
