The coffee shop itself is beautiful, very nice seating area and a lot of space. It is perfect if you want to study because it's very cosy, but it's also good if you're grabbing lunch quickly or coffee on the go. I have tried their smoked salmon sandwich and a kale/beet salad which were both very delicious. The only issue I had was the price, I thought it was a bit pricier than other coffee shops or places where you can grab lunch quickly. Despite that, I can understand since it's a local coffee shop and everything they have is high quality and fresh. Their iced coffee is more of an iced cappuccino with crushed ice... So if you want something liquid like coffee with ice, I would recommend getting an iced latte. It was delicious, and they had a lot of options for people like me who are lactose intolerant (almond milk, soy milk, lactose-free, coco milk, oat milk, etc.) The staff is extremely nice. They're very knowledgeable and incredibly helpful. The first time I went there, the girl explained everything to me and how the café started and she looked very passionate which showed me that she liked her job. The only issue I'd have with this place is their opening hours. During the winter, if you're planning on late-night studying there, it doesn't open as late as other coffee places, but that's to be expected with local coffee shops like this one.

TV's for us men to watch sports (they were live soccer that morning, but they prefer showing a replay of a baseball game?). The "J'ai faim" plates ("I'm hungry") are a good size. You can have two orders of the same meat on those plates. Waitresses are young, but nice. Always had coffee refills during the meal. The bad: The "J'ai faim" plates were separated in two, which makes them look empty. Asking for "fruits" gave me one piece of cantaloup and one piece of orange. A little more generous on fruits, please? Bathrooms are EXTREMELY small, and not that clean (or looks unclean). When we came in, there was jam on the floor that no one noticed (until we mentioned it). Same thing for a fork that fell of a plate that a waitress could not pick up and a customer ended up picking it up. The place is actually a restaurant/bar place. But they do good on breakfasts. A little expensive but worth it.

We were wrong. This is the typical breakfast joint that serves eggs, bacon, pancakes and all related items well executed. Service was good and efficient. Prices are quite decent as well. BUT... I must admit that their potatoes are DELICIOUS!!! I usually don't eat potatoes for breakfast but this time was an exception and I even asked for a doggy bag for whatever that's left of it. Found out about this place while browsing through the "Burger Quebec" facebook group. The owner…read moreposts beautiful mouthwatering photos of greasy burgers, poutines and cheesy fries on that group. So much so, I was thinking about it all week and had to check it out. We went around noon on a Saturday, luckily were able to find a spot to sit. This restaurant is very small and narrow, there are about 20 seated places, most of them at the bar. Better to grab and go as the atmosphere is noisy and cramped. We tried the "tit double" double cheeseburger, the chili burger, patty melt and sides of chili fries and "cantine" fries which had queso and big mac style sauce. Food is delicious, greasy, salty, well seasoned and fresh, fast to order and receive. The "tit" short for "petit" (small) double cheeseburger was definitely on the smaller side, for around $8.75 a decent price, but I was expecting something kind of monstrous and decadent by the photos. The burger is smaller than it looks compared to similar places. The fries are perfect for sharing. I noticed in Google reviews some people mentioned the fries were overdone, kind of burnt or crispy. I did notice this as well, however perhaps this is done for a reason. As most of their french fry dishes are covered in sauces, like poutine, chili, or queso, a slighter firmer crisper fry will hold its shape better and won't result in a soggy mess. Ideal for take out as you can still enjoy the texture of the potato minutes later. I would come back to try some of their other smash burgers but taking a star away for the location and comfort factor. There is only street parking, and such limited seating that you can't come in large groups or truly enjoy a sit down experience.
