One time I walked into the store 5 minutes before it opened with my son. door was unlocked. I was shooed from the restaurant and told they wouldn't be ready for 20 plus mins. Far past open, I was surprised they wouldn't take my order 5 minutes early or be more welcoming. I was miffed by this incident. i didn't go back for some time until today, it was well past open, close to lunch. I tried to order a dish and was told an ingredient wasn't available and was offered a substitute. I tried to order another bowl and was told another ingredient I wanted was unavailable. I left the store. I will not be back. I hope they look to improve their customer service and professionalism.

This trip we ordered a baby size ($3.60) chocolate mint (classic and good) and rocket fuel (similar to bubblegum in taste but maybe a bit more grape tasting); they were just the right size for the kids. And we also ordered single scoops ($5.15) of the wild spicy chocolate and churro (this was my top fav that we ordered, it was the hardest/coldest one so it didn't melt quite as fast either, but the Flavor was super unique and I love that spicy hit you get) and the pineapple sherbet( very refreshing and light, perfect for a hot summer day). A lovely family run business with fresh baked goodies, sandwiches, soups, and espresso drinks. The atmosphere inside is what would make me want to come back! I loved the decor, the black chalk wall, the hanging flowers, the lights, the tall ceilings, variety of seating options... just everything, lol. It was very inviting and a low stress low volume escape from the cold online most of the loud pubs and bars. I'm sure in the summer it's a great escape from the heat! I will 100% be back next time we are in Sylvan.
