This really big high school is still gorgeous and well cared for and is surrounded by some of the most beautiful homes in New York! Famous musicians like Simon & Garfunkel & the Ramones are just a few that attended Forest hills High School over the years. Unfortunately it's overcrowded and there are many students let in that don't live in Forest Hills or the surrounding area's so it makes it more difficult for children who live close by to attend this really good high school. I have heard it's changed a lot and is not as good as it used to be unfortunately because gangs are in the school and a lot of trouble is cause now but I still think it's definitely one of the best schools in New York City. So many people have been proud to say they attend Forest hills High School or are an alumni and even more patiently waiting to hopefully get in.

So my child was injured while attending this preschool and the lack of accountability that was taken by this preschool staff was absurd. I did not find out my child was injured until I arrived to pick up my son. when I asked why no one called me to inform me the excuse that I was given was "I forgot to call " my child comes to me face full of tears a front tooth missing and mouth full of blood and you Forgot to call me ? Then when I asked for the footage of the video the director tried to say oh you can't have that I said yes I can you will be giving me that video and I'm calling the police. one the video you can visibly see the teacher who is supposed to be supervising the kids on her phone taking selfies and playing on Snapchat so when I asked them what is going to be done about this everyone Is looking at me confused and the police said nothing can be done because there wasn't an assault mind you my minor child was injured under their care. the staff at the facility were condescending and didn't care And made the situation as if it was my sons fault and not the NEGLIGENT staff who was supposed to be watching him. there is also an indian teacher who works here who is racist towards african American children. more than one occasion this said teacher inserted herself doing something way above her job description and got upset when I myself Told her to mind her business, the head staff even told her on numerous occasions that she is overstepping her job title. I also have arrived to this facility and have seen mainly African American children with diapers full of urine and/feces and face full of snot and etc and when asked why the child looked that way there is never a valid reason. there is lack of competency and accountability at this facility it should be closed down truthfully

The teachers are well trained in all New York State OCFS regulations and follow the states guidelines for early childhood education. They do not want these types of students and will treat your child unfairly as a way to push you out. The bullying is ridiculous and some of the teachers are just as bad as the children when it comes to bullying students. Some teachers just yell all day, others inappropriately yap about their personal love lives to the students when they should be teaching class. However, this school, and more specifically the principal, also has a serious problem with favoritism and if you are not someone who has multiple generations of family who attended this school, has plenty of free time to volunteer, or a ton of money to donate then good luck to you. Your concerns will not be taken seriously. I had such a bad experience with this school that I have been turned off from Catholic education all together. I thought the smaller school setting would be better for my child, however the small setting was just a catalyst for cliques to develop and a "no new kids wanted" mentality.
