After months of trying to get a refund or reschedule, Cozy Meal refused to help us and kept the money we paid. To repeat: we didn't get a cooking lesson, we didnt even get a meal, and they kept our money. It might be that they have a poor system for managing their chefs, but all things the same, don't use them. We feel wronged by the experience. And to reiterate this was for a woman's 70th bday. I was forced to get Groupon to give me a refund in "Groupon Bucks." Another website/company with the word "Vino" in it showed that there were actually several paint-and-sips per week available in Tucson when using their site.

Clear scam deals on Groupon. The reviews are all glowing though because you have to have redeemed…read morethe deal to even leave a review, so all the people who can't redeem it also can't leave negative reviews. 1) Make sure you read the fine print (which you always should anyway). When you go on the Classpop website, it will appear that there are lots of classes in your area. The vast majority of them do not qualify for the Groupon. 2) Guess which ones do qualify for the Groupon? The only ones that cost less than the Groupon deals. And although the Groupon is titled something like "$130 for $190 worth of classes," the $190 classes don't qualify, only the $110 classes do, so you paid more for the Groupon than you would have directly buying through the site. 3) I eliminated the "premium" class options as specified in the redemption instructions, and there were 2 class options left instead of 34 classes. Ok, I can still work with that. Except that when you click on either of them, they both say that they are "not accepting new bookings." So there are actually 0 class options. 4) The Groupon customer service let me know that the merchant specifically made it a condition that the sales of nonrefundable whether or not you can redeem it. Quite convenient when you know you're overcharging, then there's no way for many people to ever redeem it, and you don't have to give their money back.
