The FLUFFERZ staff cleaned the car but did not remove the mats. Client asked for staff to cleaner under the mat. The FLufferz staff became angry and abusive to the Customer. The customer / our client got so upset due to his medical condition he starting hitting himself , as he felt he was discriminated due to his medical condition. Manager on site wasn't helpful at all even wanted to call the police. Staff escorting the client tried t explain to the Manager that she also witnessed it the car was not cleaned properly. He declined to solve the issue . Everyone has a right to be treated fairly regardless their medical condition

These carwashes have been popping up absolutely everywhere lately! Luckily I have one right near me…read moreso I can easily pop in and get a full car clean easily. The first time I went here I had a web deal coupon for 2 full maxi washes for the half price of 1, which was awesome. This Flufferz books in ridiculously quick, especially on weekends; I had to book mine in for like 3 weeks away. But when I got there I was very impressed, it was very easy to organise and I plonked myself down in the outside cafe area with my hot chocolate in the sun and read a magazine. Admittedly it took almost an hour and a half, but the car looked spick and span, with my tyres blacker than ever and the silver paint so metallic! I was very impressed and will definitely take my car there for the whole hog every couple of months, but just allow a bit of time for the magic to happen.

They…read moretarget their service to those folk who own and operate a top end prestige car, and who do not have the time or the inclination to zip out to such a thing as a do it yourself car wash. They are people who feel their car is like their calling card or in some cases an extension of their penis, something to be admired for it's unique shape and aerodynamic prowess; it's speed and agility on the road is supposed to add value to the myth of their own personality. So these folk do not seek to wash the car themselves. Think of Edina Monsoon from Absolutely Fabulous chastising her daughter Saffron by saying "You don't want your mother to be a normal toilet going mother do you? Where's mum? On the toilet!" the idea being such mundane tasks are for lower class people and those with minimal status and credibility. Well these are the types of people who will roll their ninety five thousand dollar car in for it to be detailed by experts who consider the finish and upholstery to be penultimate to life itself. I'm only partly kidding. I think the price is probably reflective of the targeted customer and the value of the car and the actual preciousness of the main resource that ends up being used - water. A lot of water goes down the drain at Spotless, and I'm sure they'd be paying for that as a once off, as I can't see how they'd be recycling it. All in all the service seems busy and it is close to the trendy part of town, Central Markets; so there are plenty of prestige cars getting a good hard rub. Lots of people coming along for the service I'm sure. They charge up to five hundred dollars for a full detail on a 'people mover' - that's one of those largish mini bus types of vehicles, but then you can get a service for about one hundred as well, so you will probably want to chat with the boss and scrutinise the costings to discover exactly what you get for the price. You can also get paint protection, like some kind of an invisible condom over your paint job I guess, and they will remove pet hair, tint windows and ... well you go and check out the list of things they'd do on the website or give them a call, I'm starting to feel like a pimp.

This is my local though, so I guess I have a bit of an affinity for the place that offers me fuel, friendly staff, coffee, and life support when I find we're out of bread, cat food, milk, or chocolate biscuits just after 9.30pm. The sign proudly proclaims that they never close - not quite true, they did close for a bit whilst doing major renovations, including putting in one of those shiny new car washes - and a dog wash, too. They're not the cheapest fuel in town, often a bit late to drop the price per litre and being good at pushing it up, but that's only a couple of cents per litre mostly - running my V8 across town to someone with discount fuel kinda negates the savings. The one thing that really irks me with petrol stations, signs saying the pumps are out of order when the fuel's cheap, I've never seen here. The other thing I absolutely love the BP at Athelstone for is their tyre gauge and pumping station - it's always been accurate, and the nozzle works - so many must see so much traffic it's just natural that the fittings suffer from wear and tear. This is also the last fuel you'll get on your way out on Gorge Road - or the first you'll find coming back in. Many years ago, after a run in the hills, I pretty much rolled in to the pump on vapours, before even knowing Athelstone existed. There's oddly good memories associated in getting fuel exactly when you're about to run out. Oh, yeah, the other reason these guys rock... C Coffee - now, you can get some mediocre C Coffee at times, I remember one place close to somewhere I worked had one person who managed to consistently make bad coffee - somehow he'd manage to make the coffee taste burnt, don't know if it was the milk, or the coffee itself, but a latte was punishment... these guys haven't made me a bad cup yet.

Isles are well organised and this place is always clean and fresh. Unfortunately anytime I am here during the day to get petrol the service is painfully slow, yet friendly and with a smile. I have never had the EAT or DRINK options here (aptly named) but they don't look that bad. I would probably prefer to actually pick one of their pre-cooked meals or frozen meals from their freezer section though anyway! On The Run is great for petrol but more so for 10pm at night emergencies of the chocolate craving kind.

I mean, the last experience that I had with a supermarket in Adelaide was one that was closing up at 6pm, and I'd arrived just in time to see the doors locked. I mean, seriously? Major supermarket closing at 6pm? In a major suburb? I was pretty incredulous, and after spending eight hours in the car, I was pretty buggered. But I needed stuff, and so ended up spending another half hour looking for a place to shop. That's when I stumbled upon this place. It's a service station, but it appears to be the only place where you can get any shopping done when it gets late. They don't have heaps of stuff, but they've got the essentials. They also have the service station mark up prices, so it's not a good idea to buy everything you need here. It's good to know though, that if I need it, it's there.
