Have ordered here several times, usually no problems. Today I called to order for my husband and I. He doesn't eat seafood so I asked if we could swap out something in the chicken teriyaki lunch special and the woman was super rude about it. A simple "no substitutions" would suffice but she went on about it being a lunch special, and just order the regular dinner. It's simple... if the answer is no you can simply say we don't do substitutions, no need to be rude! read more

when I went to pick my food, the guy didn't know what they doing the cashier at all. you should write customer cell phone on the order who call but they made it harder for me. the guy call my mom said the ideas over the phone. That wasn't really professional to do. read more

Excellent food. The ginger dressing on their house salad is great. The Kani salad was awesome and the potion was big. Sushi was delicious and portions were generous. Their tempura batter is delicious, almost like a funnel cake batter, and there tempura sauce was super tasty. Sushi pizza rocked and fried rice was very good. Service was awesome. There sushi is awesome! Do NOT order anything else from the menu. We tried lo mein and pad Thai. The most awful versions of both foods we've EVER had! We called to talk about the issue and was laughed at by the "unofficial manager on duty" because the manager was out of the country. Spent over $100 and was laughed at and no solution except being hung up on by said "unofficial manager on duty". Poor way to handle a business. I will only order sushi from now on and even that I'm skeptical due to the way my call was handled. read more

This place is just amazing. Have went here hundreds of times to get things like salmon sushi. Workers there are very nice and the place is very clean and decorated to perfection. If you were to go there, I would suggest their sushi rolls. read more

Solid sushi for the area - always does the job. I highly recommend the Monroe Town Roll. I can't say anything for the dine-in experience, but we order from here when we want sushi and don't want to leave the house (which is often.) Delivery is free and generally quick - food always arrives looking delicious. It's definitely a little on the pricier side, but we expect that since we're always ordering the special rolls. Their menu isn't too long, so it's easy to order the same thing over and over. However, they did charge us $3.50 for a house salad and it was just a container of lettuce! I would have loved a cucumber slice or two at least. I also wish there was a better lunch special. Overall, the food is solid and the delivery drivers are always very nice - don't get the house salad unless you ask what's on it first, and expect to pay more for specialty rolls. read more

If I'm in the area, and craving sushi this wouldn't be my place of choice. This is a small restaurant with about 6 tables and sushi bar counter seating. The hostess was nice, but the sushi is just so so. Everything was fresh but the rice is on the stiffer side and the rolls are made a sloppily. The specialty rolls were more expensive than other places. The best deal is their 2 or 3 roll special which puts each roll $4 each and comes with soup or salad. Some of rolls included are spicy tuna, salmon Avocado, eel avocado, spicy crab, California, and a bunch of others. Another issue was that the rolls are all different in size despite being the same type of roll. The sushi is ok just not matching the overall rating. On the positive, the complementary salad was Romain lettuce and the ginger dressing was excellent. read more

I love this spot. Friendly staff, super accommodating. No sass when we asked for extra sauces. BYOB is a plus. We sat at the bar and the sushi chef gave us a little plate of salmon on the house. The restaurant is super small. I would say 8 or so small tables plus the bar, which has 4 or 5 seats. The sushi is great and affordable. We got the sushi & sashimi combo plus a miso soup and an extra tuna roll. Which was plenty of food. Overall great spot. read more

They were super sweet and accommodating for our table of 5 with no reservation. Definitely better for a pick up option. Food was really fresh and good, solid sushi spot. This is my favorite place to get sushi! The sushi always taste fresh and their presentation is excellent! I've also had the chicken katsu and it was extremely crunchy and the sauce that came with it was amazing. Our family recently had a family dinner there and there were so many delicious things to try! I recommend the Paradise roll, chicken katsu, the shrimp on the appetizer menu, and the beef teriyaki which is always perfectly cooked! read more

So I can't comment on the actual raw fish sushi, since that's not my thing, but I can say I'm a regular here for their vegetarian and cooked rolls and the food is fresh and delicious! I also recently tried the beef hibachi which was very good and the miso soup is one of the best I've had. Service is friendly and fast and the sushi chef is creative in his designs! The Man and I were running errands in the area for his dad when we realized we were going to need lunch. The two guys decided they wanted Stewarts, but I just wasn't feeling it that day. Yelp to the rescue! I looked for the closest restaurant to where we were on the road, and Suki Sushi was at the top of the list. I must have driven past this place dozens of times but never noticed it because it's in a little strip mall near the post office. I excited pulled into a parking space and did a little dance behind the wheel (no, really, I did). I called in The Man's order to Stewart's and practically sprinted into Suki Sushi. It's not the biggest restaurant by any stretch with only about a dozen tables and a handful of seats at the sushi bar. However, the place looked clean and in good shape. It was surprisingly quiet for lunchtime, but I didn't care. I needed sushi and I needed it fast. The nice hostess took my order (maki combo lunch with a California roll, tuna roll, and a salmon roll). It only took about 5 minutes to get my order together, and we were on the road again. We picked up the other lunch order and settled in to enjoy a quiet meal. The food was solid. Better than I expected, actually. The soup and salad were on par with every other sushi place I've ordered from. My rolls were honestly better than several other "high end" sushi restaurants I've been to. They had just the right amount of rice to keep everything together but not so much that everything feels gummy. The cucumber and avocado in the rolls were definitely fresh, providing crunch and creaminess against the fish. My only complaint is... I didn't order enough! My bad, I know for next time. And knowing that they deliver is a bonus for when I just don't want to get up off the couch to get food. Suki Sushi wasn't an earth-shaking discovery, but it's definitely made it on my list of places to grab a bite when I'm in Monroe. read more

Started my first yelp review today because of this new restaurant! Best sushi i've had in New Jersey!!! So fresh and delicious! The owner is very generous and gave us some free samples since it just had a grand opening. Highly recommend the Crispy spicy Kami salad--it is really crispy and a bit spicy. We ordered the special combo rolls with best of best roll, Jan roll and Monroe town roll--all tasty! Definitely will come back again. :) read more

This sushi spot is really clean and they have really fresh seafood. I've had their regular rolls and also specialty rolls which are always made perfectly with fresh ingredients. Amazing sushi rolls could be bigger but other than that they were very good and fresh also had the kani salad it was amazing.

Ordered delivery received food within 30 mins. Ordered sweet potato roll and a specialty volcano roll with added avocado (.50) I didn't care for the sweet potato it was dry and not sweet at all but the volcano roll was excellent.
