On a number of occassions, and at the drop of a dime, Valiant has sent a number of business communications to those who needed an education on doing the right thing. I love that this firm follows through on their commitments and doesn't make me feel like my needs are small potatoes compared to their larger clients. Thanks again for taking care of me and my team!

He was kind, informative, easy to contact and we were through the process quickly. I would give Safa 5 stars. Also the front desk person in his office was always very kind, helpful, and present. The location of the office in convenient and quaint Here's the problem- the billing employee and payment systems for office- Paying the bill was a different situation. We made cash payments for 4 months before I came into pay the balance off and let my son pay me back instead of dragging out the bill with Safa. I felt that Safa did a good job and he should be paid. The way it is set up for payments, cash is the easiest way to pay. With every payment instead of a printed receipt from the law office you get a copy from a carbon copy payment book like you would see in the past. When I came in to pay the balance off on January 5th they gave me the final balance they had on their records. Three payments had not been entered into the balance. That's months of payments. Then the woman helping me could not find the receipts in her carbon book from said payments. Luckily I had all my carbon receipts and the woman at the desk remembered me. When we got the final payment down to the correct amount, more than 400$ less, I paid and asked for an official receipt saying the balance was paid with the office letterhead, something more official than a generic carbon receipt. I already had knowledge they were unorganized or worse, hopefully just disorganized but I would encourage Safa to follow up and see if there is a pattern of unentered cash payments and receipts missing on the office end. I hope this message gets to Safa so he can protect himself if that is the case. It was 8 days ago I paid off this debt. I was unable to receive an official receipt showing the bill was paid off because someone wasn't there who could do that at the time, so I gave my email to receive a receipt for the monies paid and asked my son not be contacted until I could speak with him about paying said debt. I was told that would be fine. Instead, he was immediately contacted by email telling him I paid the debt and asking if they could send me an invoice. That's fine if that was necessary legally. He immediately replied giving consent to sending an invoice to me, and forwarded me the email. That was 7 days ago. No invoice still. I called and left a message about this yesterday giving them one more chance to fix it before I went to public forum, and they still have not replied. Safa, your hard work is tarnished by your billing employee or billing practices they are asked to follow. Whichever it is, it is unprofessional for a law office or any office that deals with debt. I'm really sad to leave this review with less than 5 stars, but with no response from the office I believe people should be warned to watch your payments and keep your receipts. I know you should do that anyway but I'm thinking with a criminal lawyer maybe his customers aren't in the most organized headspace. Thank you Safa for your help and hopefully you can fix this issue so people can feel confident with payment as well as service.

I believed them that day, I was told they had another issue to solve and to come back for the original. I went back, called several times and was given the run around. Finally in 2025 I was told by the attorney they can't find it. I paid $2,000 for this service. The paralegal who was working on the Trust told me I still had $1,700 on the books in my favor, she told me this in 2016 before she quit. In 2021 I went to them regarding an issue since they had $1,700 in my favor on their books. I was told they were going to sue everyone involved. That as never done and he allowed the case to go out of time. I was charged $10,000 and when I asked about the $1,700 they owed me I was yelled at and told I owed them the $1,700 but couldn't show me what they did for it nor ever send me a bill until I brought up the issue years later. They don't do any follow up, they let my case run out of time, They have nothing to show what they did for the money I paid. They have you sign agreements telling you they will email your copy to you in which they never did. They would call me into their office and let me sit in the conference room for 20 to 40 minutes, one time left me in their conference room for an hour and a half then padded their bill. The attorney is always in a hurry, He changes personnel each time there is someone new working on my case. They have to start the case over and then I get charged again for the new person taking over the case. The attorney doesn't let you see or read what he's prepared but tells you to sign a Motion or some documents anyway even if you try to read the document. He also yelled at me. I've been told by 3 other attorneys to turn him into the bar association. I never got anything completed, and lost a lot of money because of him.

Although this is actually true of any defense attorney Jed Nixon stands out as one of the best Ive ever seen and he deserves recognition for the dedication he has shownkeeping his oath, not to his clients, but to the prosecuting attorneys and every other every member of The Bar Association. Jed and every Bar Member have sworn their oath of loyalty to the prosecuting attorneys because without those corrupt, career driven monstrosities abusing the justice system to line their own pockets Jed and the rest of the defense attorneys would not be able to creatively bill for all those hours they DIDN'T spend working on your case. Being a good attorney Jed does not let any case reach resolution as long as there are billable hours left to invoice. He works in tandem with the other attorneys to make sure both sides prosper for doing as little as possible and at the full expense of his client. Jed is damn good at his job and his fabrication skills along with the wide variety of untruths he customizes upon their utterance are proprietary services offered by Nixon Law that have been practiced and perfected over the years. He utilizes these skills to benefit himself by pleasing the prosecuting attorneys to whom he owes his job to. A never ending barrage of useless word vomit meant to lend credence to implication he has read your file is another skillset Jed has worked to perfect while his abject fear of exculpatory evidence keeps him from ever opening the case file. Jed prides himself in remaining blissfully ignorant of any facts that could damage the prosecuting attorneys case against his client. I do have to respect the man for needing to drink in order to live with himself though. I have had the privilege of personally experiencing Jed and his never ending quest for billable hours for over three years now and all I can say after everything ive heard, seen and experienced first hand is well i guess all i can say is wow.

Maybe its because lawyers get…read moresaddled with defending the friends of the friendless, along with a huge clientele of sociopaths defending their criminal behaviors--not going to be really high onto the satisfaction survey which is why i thought it would be helpful to share my experience with the attorney, Robert Romero Jr--he practices in a converted old timey house off Gub'ment way one block north of the KC Courthouse. Pretty damned convenient! His firm is part of the Brown, Justh & Romero group of lawyers. I was a victim of a crime and had several questions regarding liability, negligence and a clear legal perspective of my rights as I do not have a working knowledge of the criminal justice system. Mr Romero spoke with me in detail, answering every question I presented and reviewed several options from tapping into the dead great uncle's trust fund to how to present your evidence 101 for those budget minded folks like myself. I wish I had a trust fund :0( Mr Romero does not work on personal injury cases, but it seems that he does everything else within our friendly community. He could have simply wooshed me from his office within 5 minutes, and referred me to a personal injury attorney--instead he took a half an hour to review my case, clarify my concerns and address my questions. I would have gladly paid his anticipated wage of $210.00 for the legal consultation--and he was kind enough to waive the fee as I had done business with him in the past (living will, power of atty, medical directives). Solid work Mr Romero--I will be back and continue to wish you nothing but smooth sailing.
