#13 Namtok served with rice not pictured

There were good options for vegetarian eaters too as someone I was with does not eat meat. I got the #13 Namtok. The beef was tender and the flavor was delicious. It gets busy around lunch time and there was one server with us, being patient with them goes a long way.

A hungry evening of exploration in the area lead us here - and what we were so glad to have stumbled in this gem! We came on a evening on a weekend and there was only one other party seated. Our waitress was extremely friendly and a delight. Dishes ordered: Golden Noodles, Orange Chicken, Thai Iced Tea. I typically order my Pad See Ew in Thai restaurant but I saw that they had a "Golden Noodle" which is made with a curry sauce. I had to get this because I love curry and I love the wide noodles. The curry was flavorful and had a hint of sweetness - Although next time, I'll opted out for the onions because there were so many in this dish. The orange chicken tasted fresh and crisp to perfection - perfect with a bowl of white rice. The portions were a decent size and we ended up taking the leftovers to-go. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the neighborhood to check out some of the other dishes on the menu!

Great spot for lunch/dinner off Hwy 2 just a few miles east of Monroe. Clean, friendly, efficient service with a smile. 2 adults and we ordered jasmine tea, fried spring rolls, crispy garlic chicken and pork pad Thai all with 3 stars. Yummy flavor and hearty portions. Bathroom is unisex and extremely clean! 5/5 Entrees range from $15-$20/plate

In town visiting friends. Decided to swing by here for dinner. The service was friendly and fast! We were very surprised when the food arrived. Had Pad Sew Ew with chicken spice 3 could of went 4 or 5 but had amazing flavor. Also had red curry and that was a winner creamy and rich with excellent flavor profile. We did start out with fresh spring rolls and the peanut sauce!! Gonna average seating and you can see/hear the kitchen. I will definitely be returning. I gave 5 stars for being surprised at being in Sultan, WA and finding an amazing Thai food place.

Let me just say- amazing! This was the best Thai place I've been to by far. The food was delicious. All of it! We decided to split three dishes between 4 people. It was definitely enough. We started with the spring rolls. There were 5, and they were adequately crispy. They came strait out of the fryer. In the words of my brother, they were "gooooooooood." We had Pad Thai, Yellow Curry, and Garlic Delight for our main. We split it between four people, and it was just about enough. We all overate and every dish was clean. The Pad Thai was different then others I've had, and was very delicious anyway. The Yellow Curry was a delicacy! It was definitely a table favorite and a must-have! It had some pineapple in it and it mixed beautifully with the savory flavor. Finally, the Garlic Delight was pretty good. Of all the dishes this was our least favorite, but even at that level, it was still phenomenal. I dipped my fork in the garlic grease after it was gone. The mango ice cream was out favorite desert. We had two deserts. The mango ice cream had chunks of mango and though I don't usually like mango so much, it was worth the price. It was only 4 dollars. Going to this restaurant even if JUST for the ice cream, is a great idea. The black sticky rice was nice and warm. I'm not sure if it's my kind of desert though. Tip: If you do get the black sticky rice, mix it first. The coconut milk on top is not good to just eat alone. (Obviously) Most of the food was about 15-17 dollars. This restaurant was clean, and I honestly found nothing wrong with it. The only thing is the spice is not very spicy so get more spicy level. Finally, our waiter was polite, our water got refilled frequently, and we easily got his attention whenever (the place is quite small) I would definitely eat here again. Oh and one more thing: The tv was playing a chef cooking seafood and was distracting. (In a good way)

First, use 507 W Stevens Ave, Sultan, WA, and not 31115 US-2, to find the place on your mapping app. The mapping apps have the wrong location for the US-2 version of the address and will take you two miles down the road to the roundabout. That is NOT where the restaurant is. But 507 W Stevens Ave, Sultan, WA is mapped properly in all the mapping/GPS apps. This restaurant is new and in a soft opening as of 20 May 2022. So, I am going to cut them a little slack and still go with five stars because it is mostly GREAT (what Yelp considers five stars). I'll update this review in a few months once they are fully running and have had time to work out any issues (though I suspect it will still be five stars). Thai native Naree Dugan and her husband Dan bring decades of Thai cooking experience (well Naree and the kitchen staff do ) to Sultan in this light, bright, and clean Thai place. Minimal but functional yet visually nice describes the interior. It was a little chilly inside the day I went, but that is better than hot and stuffy. Service was a bit slow, but this was only the second day open. The restaurant is still (as of 20 May 2022) in a soft opening. The service is also very friendly and kind. I tried two dishes around two in the afternoon on a Friday. The place was pretty busy even at this hour. The fresh rolls with shrimp (you can also get tofu) were tasty. Everything was fresh, and the veg was crisp and beautiful. The accompanying peanut sauce was outstanding. I always try Pad Thai (with pork; you can also get other proteins) the first time I visit a new Thai restaurant. It's a touchstone dish, and this one is good. It's a tamarind base, the traditional base. No yucky red Americanized sauce here. The spiciness is from 0 to 5 stars, so I got 3. Three was a nice heat level, and I'll probably go with 4 next time to up it to a hotter but bearable level. I imagine 5 stars here is burn your hair off hot, and that is as it should be. My AT&T cellular coverage inside the restaurant was horrible, so I ended up with the printed menu. They might want to add Wi-Fi at some point to compensate if others are having the same problem. The signal is fine outside. All in all, this is a wonderful addition to the food offerings along US-2. Stop and support a local family-owned and operated restaurant. Your tastebuds will thank you.

Excellent flavor in the garlic chicken. The deep-fried oil was fresh. I also had a side order of steamed vegetables which was very flavorful yet steamed. Crispy Garlic Chicken

Absolutely love this place! I am a lover of Thai food and was so happy to see one open so close to me. This restaurant is very well priced for Thai food and you get SO much bang for your buck! Amazing portion sizes. The food is incredible, so flavorful. Cannot wait to keep ordering from this place in the future!

Sultan finally has a Thai restaurant!! Ok, they've actually been open for a bit now, they opened some time last year. This is my 3rd time getting takeout since they opened. Their Thai iced tea was really tasty, and pretty too It's hard to tell by the pic, but the fresh spring rolls were HUGE. Yummy peanut sauce, better than some other Thai places I've been to. The Pad Kee Mao was tasty too, also a huge portion. You get a lot of good food for your money. Definitely can share or have enough for 2 meals! The customer service has always been great, the brief interactions I've had picking up. It's so nice to not have to go to Monroe for Thai food now. And you can also order online!

The food is just ok. Too greasy in my opinion. Also too expensive for a small town. Would rather go out of town for Thai.

They did what they could I got an 8.00 Sake Maki role and the Nebeyaki Udon soup dish to compliment the rainy and moody weather The sushi roll wasn't anything special. Salmon, rice and seaweed, you really can't go wrong! I'm going to to come back and try other rolls cause the sushi here looks delicious The soup was full of Sweet and savory ... It definitely had that umami flavor but the shrimp and egg were very overcooked. The soup was boiling hot when I received it, the egg was hard boiled, not poached and the shrimp tempura was tough and rubbery. The variety of ingredients impressed me though. The fish cake, fried tofu, mushrooms, and pea crisps were delicious and flavorful! I would get this dish again, because it truly did taste good, I just wish they'd out the shrimp and egg into the broth later so that they didn't come out overcooked. Loved the vibe here, food was good.. this place has a good thing going!

From the moment you walk in, the cultural atmosphere stands out--many of the patrons are Asian, and on my visit, a few were even dressed in traditional garments, which added a vibrant, lived-in feel to the space. It's the kind of detail you can't manufacture, and it speaks volumes about the restaurant's credibility within the community. The interior itself is fairly average--nothing particularly modern or upscale--but it doesn't detract from the experience. If anything, it keeps the focus where it belongs: on the food. Service was a bit of a mixed bag. There were only two servers handling the floor, and they were clearly stretched thin. Ordering is done digitally, which helps streamline things, but you can still feel the strain during peak times. That said, the food started arriving quickly--our tofu noodle dish came out almost immediately, while the beef dish lagged behind a bit. Presentation leans traditional in a charming way. The plates and chopsticks have that classic, no-frills aesthetic that complements the overall vibe of the restaurant. Now, let's talk about the food. First, a word of caution: spice levels here are no joke. If you're sensitive to heat, you'll want to dial it down. But if you can handle it, the flavors are absolutely worth it--rich, bold, and deeply satisfying. The tofu was exceptionally soft, almost silky, and clearly freshly prepared. The noodles matched that texture perfectly--tender, well-cooked, and comforting. Pricing is another strong point. For the quality and portion sizes, it's very reasonable, making it an easy spot to revisit without hesitation. Overall, Nine Noodles is a great pick if you're looking for authentic flavors, a culturally immersive atmosphere, and solid value. It's not about fancy decor or polished service--it's about good, honest food. I'd definitely come back.

Mala Beef Rib Dry Noodle is exactly how I remember it; the noodles are fantastic, thin but have an amazing chew to them still. The beef rib is very tender and the cabbage adds a nice bite to the dish overall. Personally, the sauce was and is the weakest link; there isn't a super strong mala flavor that numbs the tongue in spite of the name and it's just a bit sweet overall.

My friend and I tried the spicy XLB, the chili oil spill dumplings, the mala beef shank dry noodle, and the beef rib noodle soup. Everything was wonderful and exceptionally flavored (especially the two dumplings), except... the beef rib noodle soup that fell pretty short. The rib was much less meat than the shank bowl, and was much smaller/shorter of a rib than shown in the advertised photos which is always a disappointment. It was cooked really nicely tender though, so again sad because it was only a few small bites (and the rib costs $8 more than the shank). The soup was also really lacking in flavor - we both thought it was super bland/watery tasting. Wouldn't rec (unless it's a one off)- just surprising that the other dishes were so flavorful except this one. Also highly rec the fruit sodas (i.e. green grape, passion) because they were delish! They were the perfect amount of sweetness (aka not too sweet).
