If you're in Williams this place is a MUST!! We came in on 2/19/25 I think they had just opened for the day. We got to put up our signed dollar on the wall which was pretty cool. We decided on a quick drink so we asked for a michelada and a Bloody Mary. Let me tell you, these are probably our top 3 most delicious drinks we've EVER had. The bartender was kind and made us feel at home. Don't remember her name but she deserves a raise!

Tasty bar food and classic beverages in a historic dive bar with lots of taxidermy. Friendly staff too.

Total 100 year old western dive bar. Fun to look at all of the sh*t on the walls and the 100 years of dirt and dust on it! Boy could this place tell some stories. Cold beer, good cocktails and great bartender. Try it out for the experience alone.

Cheers to my dad

It's a dive bar with history. Fun. We stopped in here this week on what would have been my dads 78th birthday. He was a Bud Light drinker and we knew we would find one here so we could 'toast' to dad and tell our favorite stories about him. There are pool tables and a juke box- friendly bartender who made sure we always had a cold one. $3.50/beer. If we lived here, this would be our regular hangout spot. Cheers to you dad, we miss you!!!

Theater where the 1st color movie was shown in Arizona

My review of Sultana Bar is as a standing piece of history, and for it's owners, not for bar service. Sultana Bar is the oldest still standing establishment with a liquor license in the state of Arizona. The Sultana's theater is also where the first color motion picture was played in Arizona. Today, the theater is used as a pool hall, and event space. When we visited, a few decorations were still lingering from a recent birthday party. The spaces stand as still functioning pieces of history. The name of Sultana Bar is also significant. The name stems from a paddlewheel boat that sank on the Mississippi river in 1865. To this day, the sinking of The Sultatn is the deadliest maritime accident of all times. There were 1,168 lives claimed by the disaster. That is more than the Titanic. One of the reasons few have heard of the disaster is that President Lincoln was assassinated not long before the sinking. With the counrty still reeling from the president's death, and with how slow news traveled, the sinking of The Sultana did not make many headlines. We actually ventured into Sultana Bar because of the neighboring The Little Chicken Spot. TLCS's owner took us on a tour of the bar, and gave us the history lesson. Rick also raved about the owners of the bar. He talked about how awesome they have been as landlords. The owners had no problem with Rick giving us an impromptu tour. While we were eating at TLCS, one of the owners came by to order lunch. With so many terrible landlord stories these days, it's so refreshing to see such a strong positive relationship.

The memorabilia on the wall gives patrons much to talk about.

Probably not the trendiest bar you're ever going to visit, but it's certainly the most historic and interesting. Stopped in on our trip down Route 66, following the recommendation of our guidebook, and we were not disappointed. The manager was friendly, knowledgeable, and mixed a mean bloody Mary. She let us look around at the adjoining room (used to be a theater) and filled us in on the history there. She also gave us a great recommendation for the next leg of our journey.

Great service and cold beer.... I will definitely be back!

The service was impeccable. Clean, and the atmosphere was fun! Looking forward to coming back!

Unfortunately, it's poorly kept up. Lots of history just trashed. Long wait times, over priced, and you can almost always expect a fight.

Food was greasy. Fries not crispy. Just went there for a vet biker event but did not care for their food.

Always enjoyable. Reminds us of our favorite bars back home in the Midwest. Blonde bartender is always so friendly to talk to.

We've been to this location quite a few times, but it's been a few years since our last visit…read more We popped in for some ice cold beers after the Route 66 100 Year Centennial Car Cruise and Show a few weeks back. The space still has that nice rustic charm with plenty of seating inside and outside on their nice patio. Ordering, however, has changed. Beers, cocktails, nonalcoholic beverages, cans to-go, and food is all ordered up at the bar. There was 1 lone employee working the bar; taking orders, pouring beers, mixing cocktails, and closing people out at the register. This was so incredibly inefficient, particularly on such a busy day. I stood in line 3 separate times (once to initially order two pints, a second time to order a flight of other beers we wanted to taste, and a final time to purchase two cans to-go and close out my tab); each time in line took between 15-25 minutes. The girl behind the bar was very friendly and she was working as quickly as possible while maintaining a relatively happy attitude, but boy did I feel bad for her. Management really messed this up; someone needed to step in and help. With such a big celebration in town that day, there needed to be a minimum of 3 employees manning the bar to take orders and get drinks. As for the beer itself, as usual it's just average. Great if you're looking for something cold to enjoy, but not memorable if you're a craft beer nerd. We went in knowing what the quality would be, but still wanted to try all the new beers since we hadn't been in a couple of years. We didn't eat while there, but in the past when we have, the food is good. The knock of two stars was simply for the horrible management of orders. I don't know when they decided to get rid of waiters and put all the pressure onto the bartender, but geez what an awful decision that was.
