You could dedicate an entire day there soaking up culture and shopping. The Cashmere House is infamous for its quality. We are average tourist but were met with high class customer service. Not so. With the hundreds of pushy/disinterested/questionable vendors touting questionable "cashmere" and/or "pashmina," this was a breath of fresh air. Our day at the Grand Bazaar started with this shop and ended with it. Our initial visit, we briefly looked around and left to check out other stores. On our return to the store at the end of the day, Yusuf (who owns the store with his brother) welcomed us back and actually left the store to give us space to look around. While we were looking, he didn't bombard us with information as most vendors tend to do. Yusuf wasn't pushy at all and frankly, he doesn't need to be as the quality of their products really speak for themselves. We chatted for quite a bit and at the end of our visit, purchased a few very beautiful cashmere/silk wraps. A wonderful experience in an otherwise frustrating experience at the Grand Bazaar. Highly recommend to those looking for high quality shawls/wraps.

Turkish towels, luxury, quality, hand made, huge selection to choose from and custom made robes…read moreare what you find in this amazing shop. I first heard about Jennifer's Collection prior to traveling to Istanbul during an online search for Turkish towels. After a private city tour, our guide also recommended this shop and said it's worth the visit. As soon as you step inside the showroom, it is obvious that this place is top quality. The weight of the towels, softness and vibe here is exactly what we were looking for in Turkey. We ended up buying several towels and most importantly custom made robes for us. We picked out the towels to be used and then went to the exclusive showroom for a tailored fitting. It took just a few days for the robes to be made and worth the wait. Haci, our salesman, was friendly, answered all of our questions, and made us feel welcome throughout the process. Sipping apple tea was a good way to relax and think through our choices. The shop's owner is from Canada, so this is more of a fixed price shop, but you can receive a little discount the more you buy. The shop is conveniently located in the Arasta Bazaar, about a 10 minute walk from historic sites like the Blue Mosque. We actually preferred this Bazaar over the larger Grand Bazaar as it has more local crafts. Come over and check out Jennifer's shops and take home a piece of Turkish crafted pride.

After using them, I was so impressed that during a later layover in Istanbul on my way home from Oslo, I made a point of returning to buy more. Jennifer and Hacı even arranged for my purchase to be delivered to me at the airport, which was an incredible level of service. The towels have exceeded my expectations. They are exceptionally soft, beautifully woven, and of outstanding quality. Every time I use them, I'm reminded why I went back for more. What also stood out was the shopping experience. There was never any pressure to buy, and the fixed pricing gave me complete confidence that I was paying a fair price. Hacı was knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely helpful throughout the process. Perhaps what I appreciate most is Jennifer's commitment to preserving Turkey's centuries-old weaving traditions and supporting the talented artisans who keep this craft alive. It's gratifying to know that my purchase helps sustain a meaningful cultural heritage while bringing such beautiful products into my home. If you're looking for authentic Turkish towels of exceptional quality and want to support a business that truly cares about craftsmanship, tradition, and its artisans, I wholeheartedly recommend Jennifer's Hamam. It was one of the highlights of my visits to Istanbul.
