The volunteers are all very friendly and welcoming and rob is an excellent teacher. I found that his style of teaching was very beneficial and it has had a big impact on finding inner peace. Having said that some of my friends have attended the class and not found this aspect useful preferring to stretch more and do less meditation and self reflection. I definitely think it's worth trying out especially if you find yourself stressed or anxious. Rob is very approachable and always happy to help you out with tips and techniques for what to do at home if you need extra work.

Then, each class duration is 1.5 hours, which I reckon is the ideal length for a yoga class - long enough for your muscles to get warm and stretchy, to work on breathing technique, and to enjoy well-deserved relaxation/meditation. And finally, the room at Yogascentials is pleasantly lit, a good size for class numbers, and is clean. Yoga mats and other equipment are provided, but if you're going to practice yoga regularly, it is well worth it to buy your own mat. Casual classes are $17 or you can purchase a 10-class pass for $150. Alternatively, sign up for a 10-week course for $150. And there are classes to suit all levels of yogis. Then I paid $25 for a drop-in, casual class. I practice hatha yoga and bikram so yin yoga was different. To be honest, at first, I thought the poses were too simple and not challenging. So i collapsed heavy into the poses. The next day, my body was sore in all sorts of places I forgot about!!! I quite enjoyed the spiritual element to the class. Also, the venue was adorable. When I go to yoga, I like it more spiritual based with movement and not super broey gym vibe. Wil was great talking about concepts such as compassion, letting go of our desire to control, and accept this moment where we are right now. After class, I stayed and chatted a bit with wil. I figured that committing to two classes per week, at 1.5 hours each, I would finally catch that yoga bug or die trying. The classes were good, the instructor very patient and hands-on. It was definitely the most physically demanding yoga practice I've tried (yet a hell of a lot more enjoyable than Bikram) - really, I think if any practice was going to get me hooked, it would be Ashtanga. But it didn't. I think it's no fault of the school - I can't fault them - it's just I lack the earnestness required for yoga. So, while I'm clearly too spiritually deficient for Ashtanga, I wouldn't hesitate recommending these classes to anyone after quality yoga instruction.

From the burning incense out the front door, to walking inside the beautiful studio, I could tell this was going to be a grounding and lovely experience. The instructor Eva was warm and welcoming, she gave me a quick orientation when she checked me into the class. I brought my own mat, but they also have mats for hire for $2 (first class hire for free). After collecting a flat cushion, a log cushion and a block, I got settled in before the class started. Eva has lovely grounding energy, spoke enthusiastically and gave clear instructions. She moved around the room throughout the class to check on movements, helped to make corrections and assisted in realigning postures to help students get a deeper stretch in poses. The instructions were matter of fact, and Eva spoke about the physiological response of stress on the body - personally I found that I take on that better than chatter about the moon aligning with planets that drains your energy.. At the end of the 75 minutes, I definitely felt relaxed yet energised, ready to tackle the day ahead. Will definitely be coming back regularly to get unravel my mind and body!!

The staff are so welcoming and I feel like the regular classes have significantly improve my body strength. I actually look forward to these classes each week and don't feel like it's an effort, which I felt with the Gym.
