As we were going at close of season, we almost had the site to ourselves! There is also a shop on the grounds that has almost everything you could need if you've found you left something behind. Plenty of showers and toilets and a refrigerator to store items like freezer packs and the odd bottle of champagne. And for those who like to fish (not us) they have fishing on site. And for those who don't like camping in a tent, they have a few old gypsy caravans available for hire.

It's a great place, we stayed in the 1st floor of the little apartments, mystique I think it's called. It's good enough to sleep in and make basic meals, but then you don't come here to sit in allot or make a roast dinner for 6. Evening entertainment kept my three year old more then happy, dancing with the other children and meeting the characters here. Loads of game machines and amusements to play on and collect your tickets for a prize. Beside the bar a good sized park for kids with a pay as you play race track for the little ones. A small soft play near to reception also with an indoor swimming pool. Spar shop is 5 minutes drive one way, 5 minutes the their way and you are at the beach. Worth a go, we have enjoyed ourselves.

While told that the campsite was full and we got the last 2 pitches, they did their best to get us next to each other which they did. Excellent customer service over the phone while booking. Campsite itself was clean, shower block one of the better ones I've seen. Site cleaned and the grass mown every day. Easy reach of the main beaches, with Hemsby beach a 5 minute walk lovely sandy beach with lifeguards always on duty. Had access to the on-site club house but didn't use so can't comment on the standard of entertainment provided, however our entertainment was provided by fellow campers arguing! Despite the neighbours we had a pleasant stay here, and would stay here again.

Allowing people renting caravans only 6.5 hours of swimming each day. 10am - 12:45pm then 2pm - 5:45pm when other places I have been has the pool open for at least 5 hours at a time in the afternoon and 3 in the morning. Also you have to take an entertainment pass with you to get into places. I get it is good at keeping outsiders out but it's also finicky due to the fact they could easily get lost or torn. Overall the accomodation is fantastic and pictures are accurate but the activities and times for the pool is what brings the review down. It is worth it to just take the 5 - 10 minute walk down to the beach with a body board and go to the beach for swimming in the sea and playing in the sand.

In fact, the beach is literally across the road from the park. It's also close enough to Yarmouth to enable you to visit there too. We have stayed a couple of times at this site and have not been disappointed on either occasion. We…read morehave taken our tent and had a standard pitch (not a deluxe one with electric hook-up). There are just over a hundred pitches and we have never found noise to be a problem on this site. It is very sheltered and peaceful and it never feels cramped. The site is well run by helpful and friendly staff and the toilet and shower blocks are of a very high standard and kept extremely clean. There are a couple of family/disabled shower rooms too which is useful if you have small children. There are decent laundry and washing-up facilities and a well-stocked on-site shop for any essentials you may have forgotten. They also have book and magazines you can borrow during your stay. There is a small children's play area which has got one of those giant swings, a sandpit and climbing frame with slide. There is also a well-stocked fishing lake although we have not used this. Some lovely woodland walks surround the site too. I highly recommend a stay on this site (but not when we want to go of course!). It is also within easy access of the North Norfolk coast and is a good base for exploring this delightful part of the country.

The carpet had looked like it had never been hoover, the bathroom was mouldy and smelt horrible, the bedding was full of dust and the kitchen was not fit for cooking in. Everynight we ate out. We mainly lived outside for the weekend. We didn't even like sitting on the sofa. The children loved it though but they weren't to know any different. The evening entertainment was not that good and you could never even find a seat as for some reason it was always packed out. We spent most our holiday outside the holiday park at the beach or at Great Yarmouth. I was really glad when i got home, and i don't think i would ever go there again.
