The teachers/staff are down to earth and don't put in airs. They keep the parents informed and if you have any issues, they are happy to listen. Things are run a bit differently bc there isn't quite as much money here, but i'm fine with that. I love the faculty at this school. There is a friendly relaxed vibe among the staff at Hoover that is hard to find. They seem happy to be there and the little assembly every morning is a great way to begin the day! My son has truly excelled here and his strengths have been noticed and encouraged. I could not be happier with this school.

There were roughly 50 people in attendance. Some years were not represented, possibly because they all died. The oldest in attendance was 95, if I heard right. She grad ug ated in the 40's. The youngest was from a class in the 80's. My mom won a Walmart gift card in a drawing. Nice door prize! The theme was Homecoming. They elected a queen and king, who were then crowned and cheered. Lots of clapping, good time all around.

This church has been around for many years. It is a huge church, with a private school. The church…read moreitself is impressive. For such a big church, there isn't much seating in the main worship area. Strange. In the basement is a big kitchen with tables for meetings, luncheons, family activities. In order to reach the basement, you must take the stairs or use the small elevator, located on the East side of the entrance. Classrooms branch off to the west. There are wheel chair ramps outside so you can reach any level of the church. I came for a funeral, so I can't describe much more than that.

I attended the Medford H.S. Cardinals at Deer Creek-Lamont H.S. Eagles football game on 9/23/2011…read moreat Lamont, OK. It was the DCLA Homecomeing game. The final score of the game was 46-0. The eight man football game ended at the half because of the score. The MVP of the game was DCLA's Tyler Kirby who had 196 yards rushing on just 10 carries for the Eagles. I'm only giving three stars because I was rooting for Medford.
