They were completely sold out of their makin' a mint (mint, lemon and hibiscus) flavour. - Tasting - we were able to try three flavours. High n' dry is just as you'd expect. Hop on board was a touch hoppy. Modern miracle was everyone's winner from the bunch. - 4-Pack briefcase ($29.95) - we went with three modern miracle's and one hop on board bottle. It's slightly cheaper buying the briefcase compared to individually ($8.49). Always nice to see a new cidery open up but MRCC's flavours didn't enthral us.

A beer cider hybrid. - Castles in the sky - super delicious. They use grapes from Lightning Rock. We also bought a bottle ($20.00). Definitely check them out if you're a fan of craft ciders.

They also have "Pommeau" which they describe as cider-if-it-was-port, and it's unlike anything I've tasted before. Tasting fee is waived if you buy a bottle. My personal favourite is the Pear. It wasn't busy but the server manning the cider bar was friendly and enthusiastic. We both did a tasting (don't believe their was a fee) and sampled 5 flavours. Bottles are in the $14.00 to $18.00 range (taxes included). You save a $1.00/bottle when you buy 3 or 6 bottles. Sadly, they were out of their sparkling orchard ($7.00) which I wanted to buy/try. - Kingston's twist - semi-dry. - Calville blanc - semi-sweet. - Midnight cherry - semi-dry blend of apples and cherries. Enjoyable but I was hoping for more brightness from the cherries. - Tangled rose - semi-sweet blend of apples and Santa Rosa plums. We've had this before and it is delicious. Our favourite! We bought three bottles. - Glo haven - semi-sweet blend of apples and peach. We bought half a dozen bottles for home so that shows how much we enjoy Twisted Hills ciders. Go!

Staff is friendly, amiable and very knowledgeable on their ciders. Tasting fee is $5.00/person and includes four pours. Each fee is waived with the purchase of a bottle. Their standard bottles (750mL) are $24.90 to $39.90 but this year, they had some new flavours ($12.90 for 375mL). They've even started selling fancy candles! - Pear charmat - this is their champagne style cider. Smaller bubbles and the driest of their offerings. Perfect to celebrate a special occasion. - Sparkling pear - their version of a prosecco cider. Larger bubbles meant a less dry, smoother finish. - Sparkling apple + pear - fruitier and a slightly creamier texture. - Sparkling rosé - this is our favourite of the bunch. Blackberry note really comes through. - White/red/black currant apple + honey ($12.90) - we bought three bottles to try each of their new currant ciders. Unique ciders at LPA that you'll be hard pressed to find elsewhere.

We came as a walk-in when all the picnic tables were full. One worker was kind and offered to do the tasting by one of their barrels until a table opened up. The other worker wasn't helpful or friendly. - Newtown granny 2020 - a bit more citrusy and mellow. We bought a bottle ($22.00) for home. - Century - Aurora 2020 - this was the same as last year (merlot). Slight off dry finish. Apparently, they use a different grape in each year's edition. - Goldie 2019 - their barrel aged cider. Aged in oak barrels. - Crabby apple - solid like last year's version. - Juice - still as good as we remember. Crazy that it's good to drink for up to 2 months. Decent ciders at C&G. Make a reservation if you don't want to wait. 3.5 stars.

The space itself is huge, especially their outdoor picnic seating area. Gorgeous view and a few outdoor/camping games (Yardzee, Jenga and ladder toss) to entertain you. Tastings are $3.00/person and get you two samples. Otherwise, you can get a flight ($9.99 for 4). Tasting fee is waived if you buy at least 3 bottles. Cans and bottle prices are in the $3.49 to $8.49 range. - Raspberry perry - this is delicious; refreshing and extremely quaffable. Our favourite flavour that they offer. We bought a couple bottles ($7.99). - Cherry 'n' apple - this is the other that we enjoyed; bright, bold cherry flavour. We bought a bottle ($7.49) as well. - Raspberry hibiscus - this was better than when we first tried it at Cider Fest. More floral and hibiscus was more prominent. - Bourbon blackberry - one of their barrel aged ciders. - Jamaican rum plum - their other barrel aged option. - Raspberry extinguisher - slightly drier. Didn't love it. - Haskap berry - a friend brought us one back to try when they visited. Not much flavour to this one. It's all about the raspberry perry from Truck 59. 3.5 stars.
