Chemical Leak
Nolan T.

5/24/26 there was legitimate chemical safety threat serious enough for the governor to declare a state of emergency. Instead of helping, Sun Coast gave us the runaround and ultimately refused the refund. This was not an unreasonable request. They are clearly more concerned with keeping our money than taking care of guests.

I've stayed here a few times. During the NAMM convention, when attending concerts at House of Blues, or Filipino Weekend at Disneyland. As an Honors member I like to stay at Hilton brand hotels, especially to earn points. Suncoast has been great every time. Rooms are always clean, I check with my blacklight. Due to my asthma I needed a feather free room, and they're always accommodating. It is considered a Good Neighbor hotel as part of the Disney packages. Front desk has always been courteous with me, asking how my day was etc...if ib stay in Anaheim I'll always stay here because I know the service I'll get. Only time I won't is during the NAMM convention because I need to stay where internet classes will be held.

my boys loved that they played Disney movies in the lobby. room was #103 and towards end of hall so we didnt have to deal with any noise which was nice. microwave and small fridge included which help. i only wish the fridge was a lil bit colder for our drinks. hot tub was big enough and they even have games around pool area. i just wish they provided coffee in the lobby.

The staff tried really hard to help me out. Special thanks to Mish and Cameron for being awesome. Notes * Uber to Disney for $5-8 * Walk is around 15mins * Diamond members - Did not get an upgrade, but you do get the $15/person credit. * 1 Blink EV charging + 1 EV Charging for handicap Pros * Daytime staff member were kind warriors! Each and every one of them. Even the cleaning lady was kind. * Great email support. Mish really took the time to answer all my questions. 5-star. * Great support - I messaged that I was missing handsoap and they brought it up immediately * The hotel does look nicely remodeled. * Bed is comfortable Cons * Ask for the 5th floor - The noise - I get it, it's a family hotel but the running back and forth all throughout the day and night got us no sleep at this hotel. It really sounded like a warzone. Multiple people must've been running and jumping upstairs. It never ended. * Noise Part 2 - Many reviews mention the freeway. I was in a room facing away from the freeway and earplugs were enough to filter it out. However the jumping upstairs and constant door slamming shook the bedroom making the earplugs useless. * Rude staff after hours * Bring an eyemask - Sun blocking curtains do not work. * "on the go" food order took 40 mins from the time of ordering despite being told it'll take 20 mins. * No lock or fan in the bathroom.

Bathroom barn door.

First time at this facility. Fairly modern, clean, and well kept. Even though the property is within the Disneyland corridor, interior of the hotel was very quiet. Opportunities: bathroom has a barn door which could be wider (gap in ea h side). If privacy is a concern, be aware. Parking is $35 per day but considering proximity to Disneyland, not out of line.

Fireworks display seen from our hotel room

A fabulous experience from start to finish! My mom and I stayed here on for two nights right before new years -- we lucked into a last minute reservation and spent the 30th at Disneyland. We loved our room, the beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of space for two people. The service at the front desk was also impeccable. We could also see the fireworks from our room! We watched them both nights and that was a special treat for sure. This is a great hotel a bit away from the hustle and bustle of the parks, but still close enough that you can walk or take a short 5 minute uber. I'd definitely stay again!

Here are the pros of our previous one night stay at Suncoast: 1. excellent pool and whirlpool hottub 2. beautifully smelling lobby/elevators 3. friendly staff 4. EV charging in structure and outside 5. 6 minute drive to Disneyland/California Adventure 6. small cafe/bar on premises 7. modern room & bathroom The cons: 1. Hard extra-firm mattress 2. no reception in downstairs parking structure in case you need help with EV charging station As you can see we had so many positives! We really loved the hotel - especially watching fireworks from the beautiful pool area. But, we couldn't consider staying again unless the mattresses were updated. Both my partner and I had such uncomfortable night of sleep due to the quality of the mattress. Please let us know if you have rooms with softer mattress options! If you do, we'll be back for sure.

This is our first time staying here, one of the Hilton properties...(my hubby booked it...didn't know it was part of Hilton)...we chose to stay here because we wanted to stay late at Disneyland for the fireworks and it's tooooooo tiring driving home, and omg...prices at Disneyland hotels, forget it. Anyways, it was approximately a 10 minute walk to the parks, it looked far...but not really. Hotel rooms were big and it had a "Living Room" type when you walk in. It's not as fancy as other Hilton's we stayed at...such as, there were no bathrobes or showers caps etc. I haven't try asking...not sure if they will provide if asked. Any ways, it is outdoor parking and the people that work there were VERY NICE!! So the Service is like a 5 Star place. In the room, there is a small refrigerator and microwave. As a Hilton Diamond Member they do give you 2 free bottle water and a little snack.

$10.50 (not including tax and tip) for 3-4 oz of cheap Pinot Grigio.
Rachel S.

Breakfast was terrible. We were standing around for a while just waiting for someone to acknowledge us or take our order. Other guests were confused and waiting around as well. Finally an employee came out and took people's orders. My breakfast plate was inedible as served. The tater tots were still cold/ partially frozen. Eggs were also cold from sitting on the cold tots. I had to take my plate up to my room to use the microwave to heat it to an edible temperature. The bar is a rip off. I ordered a glass of Pinot Grigio for $10.50. The pour filled barely half of a small wine glass. $10.50 for barely 3.5-4oz of cheap wine is not it. Hilton is usually pretty great but this property needs help on its restaurant/bar service. It feels like an afterthought that is poorly managed and understaffed. Be prepared to get food and drink elsewhere because service and quality here leaves much to be desired. At least the rooms were decent.

I stayed at Hotel Indigo by IHG for the first time and was quite disappointed with both the…read morecustomer service and overall experience. The hotel itself feels a bit dated and could use some updates, but honestly, a room is a room--it serves its purpose. My main issue was the lack of communication and professionalism from the staff throughout my stay. For context, I am an IHG Platinum member. One of the benefits of Platinum status is eligibility for early check-in and room upgrades, both of which are subject to availability. I travel frequently and completely understand that these perks are never guaranteed. However, based on my experience and recommendations from hotel staff at other properties, I typically call the night before arrival to request that a note be added to my reservation regarding an early check-in request. The night before my arrival, I called the hotel and spoke with a front desk employee named Daisy. I politely asked if she could add a note to my reservation requesting early check-in. Her only response was, "Early check-in is subject to availability," which I already understood. What confused me was that she never asked for my name, confirmation number, or any information that would allow her to locate my reservation. When I pointed this out and asked how she could add a note without identifying my booking, she still refused to pull up my reservation. The call ended with no note added and a very poor impression of the hotel's customer service. The next morning, after landing around 7:00 AM, I called again hoping to speak with someone else. I was hoping to refresh before the rest of my day. This time I spoke with Elizabeth, who was much more helpful and was able to locate my reservation and add the note. I mentioned my experience from the previous evening, and her immediate response was, "Who said that?" I chose not to name anyone and simply explained what had happened. She told me she would do her best and said I should be able to get into a room around noon. Since I was already nearby, I slowly made my way to the hotel and arrived around 11:30 AM. Elizabeth was not there at the time, so I spoke with a male front desk employee and explained that I had been told a room would likely be available around noon. His immediate response was again, "Who said that?" It felt as though every staff member was more concerned with identifying who had provided information rather than helping the guest in front of them. The lack of communication between employees was becoming increasingly obvious. I then asked if I could at least begin the check-in process and park my car in the garage rather than continue occupying one of the check-in parking spaces. Only then did he ask for my reservation information. In my experience, most hotels are able to begin the check-in process even if the room is not quite ready. After parking and waiting a short while, Elizabeth returned around noon and was able to get me checked in. During check-in, I also requested a late checkout and was told that a 1:00 PM checkout had been approved. The communication issues continued the following day. My partner asked me to confirm our checkout time, so I stopped by the front desk. A male and female employee looked up my reservation and appeared confused, telling me there was no late checkout noted on the account. Once again, I had to explain that it had already been approved. And once again, I was asked who had approved it. Both employees then agreed to honor the 1:00 PM checkout. Even on the day of departure, the confusion persisted. While I was in the shower getting ready to leave, the room phone repeatedly rang. When I finally answered, a front desk employee asked whether I had a late checkout. I replied that I did. My entire stay felt like there was little to no communication between staff members. Every request seemed to require re-explaining the situation, and every interaction was met with questions about which employee had said what rather than a review of the reservation notes. As a loyal IHG member, this was one of the most frustrating hotel experiences I've had. Unfortunately, because of the poor communication and inconsistent customer service, I don't know if I would choose to stay at this property again.

Walking distance to a ton of restaurants for dinner which is also nice to park and and not have to touch your car again. First off the location is great for the parks, it's a doable walk when your feet are still fresh but if you're too tired they have their cute little trolley that drops you off and picks you up from the parks once an hour. It's a very quiet hotel, i've never had any noise issues staying there. The rooms are always clean and the beds are super comfy. From front desk, to maids, to groundskeepers and security guards everyone smiles and greets you when walking by. We like a specific area of the hotel and they almost always honor that and are very personable. The price is pretty comparable to other ones in the surrounding area when you factor in parking fees for them. My family is usually willing to pay a little extra for that Candy Cane Inn charm.
