Knowledgeable, friendly staff after several visits as we try desperately to maintain the beautiful garden we inherited when buying our new house. (Failing quite miserably SO FAR with the beach sunflower.....Hoping for better luck with the sea grapes ) Probably a little pricier than going to HD for plants, but what do I know? Nice to support the smaller, local businesses, so I don't mind spending a bit more. When the weather is as beautiful here as it is now (early March), I think to myself, "Man, these folks must love working here. Being out in the sunshine and cool winds every day.....this is heaven. OUTSTANDING! OUTSTANDING! OUTSTANDING!!!! This is the most amazing nursery I have ever been to! To start, the staff is amazing. Chris, Renee, Linda, Rae, and Emerald were the absolute nicest. I was captivated upon entering by the beautiful gift shop. This gift shop is spectacular. They have everything from hand towels to gorgeous paintings. One of my favorites was a beautiful aqua colored pineapple lamp. I really wanted it but I bought a gorgeous lagoon painting. They had an assortment of quilled cards that were super unique. I was impressed by the outdoor nursery. They had an enormous selection of Plumeria's. Every size, different colors, even different scents. Lots of beautiful pots and planters. I couldn't get enough. My husband had to drag me out of there. If you live here or are visiting, this is a must see place to check out. They are all very knowledgeable and very kind. My favorite nursery! We moved here 8 yrs ago & our new home had the worst lawn in the neighborhood & of course being only familiar with caring for our beautiful & lush rye or bluegrass varieties we were at a loss as to saving our lawn with crab grass that we routinely pulled out back home if we saw it invading!! Dave to the Rescue. We stopped at Sun Harbor & we're told to bring in a ziploc bagged sample of the soil & lawn. Dave tested it & put us on a year long soil, lawn & watering routine & told us to embrace our new lawn, although not the same it would eventually be thick, green & lush. My husband followed his directions to the "T". And yes, in a few months we had wonderful results. Dave is a Master Gardener & we have always gotten great advice from him & enjoy his short remembrances. BTW, if you need help with your Plumaria (Frangipani) you'll find no better place to go to. Dave is an expert & will happily tell you how to care for them, even if he didn't sell them to you & how to save them after Hurricane damage. Thanks Dave!!!! His plumaria are beautiful, healthy & very fairly priced. We are lucky to have Dave as a resource in our neighborhood!! His employees are also well versed in the plants they offer for sale & are kind & patient answering my questions. They also offer beautiful Mexican pottery & lawn furnishings & decorations. I REALLY want to support local businesses. And I do. However, in the last 3 times I have visited this nursery the owner has been extremely rude and annoyed with any question I ask. He acts as though I'm a major inconvenience. I'm not sure if it's because I wear a face covering and he doesn't?- but he was rude before covid now that I think of it. I realize some might be hard of hearing, so I speak clearly, with a smile in my eye, but still, he's plain rude. Rolling his eyes, Hmphing, giving non-answers, shrugging his shoulders, talking about his surfing days at times. It's bizarre, actually. I've never met a small business owner quite like him, with obvious contempt for his customers. Luckily I don't mind the drive to Rockledge or other competing businesses in Vero. It's too bad, it's so close but even my husband, who is super mellow and understanding insists we never return. read more

A couple of years ago, I was looking for an Edible Passion Fruit Plant and was sold a Potato Plant. The Potato Plant pot even had the Edible Passion Fruit Tag in it. When I began to get POTATOES, I went back to the Nursery and was treated like a criminal. I didn't have proof, other than the potato from the plant, and the receipt did not have the type of plant on it. They said that they would give me 10% off my next purchase. I wanted a fast growing hedge. I bought and planted a dozen plants in February. I was told they would be waist high by June. I gave them more than adequate water and food. The largest of the bushes has grown about 2" and is not even knee high in mid August. Manager claimed we didn't feed or water the plants and refused to make restitution. read more

Let me caution you about any frangipanis you may buy from this nursery. Spring 2020 we bought two of two different sizes, and paid a hefty price for them because they were rare colors. The owner was nice to us (not same as other reviews). Got the plants home to discover that had no roots or very few roots, they essentially were fresh cuttings stuck in flimsy plastic pots. Maybe the time of year was a factor, but not even the tags were of any quality. Had to repot them because the plants would not stand up in their tiny light weight pots, but re-potting them probably shocked them. So I did a dumb thing and tried to plant them that spring/summer (2020). Two died and the other two have not grown at all (now summer 2021). If you buy frangipani's from this nursery, you should plan on putting the little pots in larger heaver pots, and then leaving them in pots for a year. Note that over the years I have grown other frangipanis (all the pinks) from cuttings and 90% of them thrived. read more
