Not having the sushi premade and on display made it a little crazy picking a menu item, but I got through it. After all, freshly made sushi has got to be better! I must have frantically read somewhere on the menu that there was no charge for half and half, so I ordered teriyaki chicken and fresh salmon and avocado - I always start simple. I sat down on one of the benches - no one else was bothering to sit down, just that I have had bad experiences with sushi rice and soy sauce while trying to eat in my car. I seemed to get the sushi brought out within minutes, way before the takeaway the guy in front of me ordered. Score. What came out was two of the biggest sushi rolls I had ever seen, sliced up on a flat bamboo plate. They were about as fat as my clenched fist, and overflowing with goodness. I would say about the amount of food you would get from four stingy rolls from a hole in the wall sushi joint. There was nothing stingy about these though, with thick fresh salmon in one lot and juicy chicken in the other lot. Maybe there was too much sauce? Not that I am complaining, just not used to the extra thick smothering of teriyaki sauce. Yum! Highly recommended! I think next time I will order less, but try some of the awesome combinations.

Walking into the place, it was huge so that rumour is probably true! They have people walking around in trolleys which is great as you can just pick what you want. The prices are more expensive than the Haymarket yum cha but I think it's worth it. The dumplings are larger than other yum cha places and they only have 3 dumplings in a steamed bamboo holder. The reason for the 3 stars is because the service isn't great. Given the amount of people you would think the service would be better but it's sort of put me off. Tuner ic fried rice that on special menu is not disappointed, as well as the nasi uduk komplit ( coconut rice indo style, with side dishes, including protein on the side . The sell just the rice for $3.50, which for me acceptable since the flavour is so delicious.
