I can't say if it was the best ever, but it was good enough for us that we dined here on both the nights we stayed in Strasbourg. Part of it was due to the fact that Alsacian cuisine is meat-heavy, and partly because those that had vegetarian options were fully booked. The first evening I tried the veggie pizza. The toppings were paprika, aubergines, and zucchini. The crust is what makes the pizza amazing. I was surprised that they didn't have a wood fired oven. Why does everyone say that real pizza is made in those? This was even better! The second evening I had the mushroom pizza. A little too much mushroom for my taste, but I got used to it quickly. Yummy. You have to eat here. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Even though the space is little, you feel at ease. The restaurant specializes in pizza, and really does it well.

The service is good, you pay beforehand which I think makes an easier dining experience. The food is surprisingly good. We had both pizzas and tarte flambé and both exceeded my expectations. The spiciest pizza wasn't very spicy, the wait was long, and the water was overpriced. They also had beer on tap. The place was reasonably priced. Overall a good place to grab a bite and close to the main tram station.

I noticed many delivery bicycles going in and out so I figured that was a good sign, as the restaurant itself was not crowded at all. They didn't offer in English menu, but I was able to struggle through with my very limited French skills. No such thing as pepperoni, so I settled on the ham and a lweiss beer. The pizza arrived with a thin crust, which I was quite happy about, the crust was done perfectly and there was a generous serving of cheese and the ham was very fresh. It would've been nice to have some spicy pepper flakes to head to the pizza to give it a bit more flavor but overall it was a very good meal, probably enough for two but as I hadn't eaten all day I enjoyed every last bite myself. All in all a very satisfying meal and not a bad price with two beers the total was $17.
