We usually wait for sales where you buy a certain dollar amount and get more as a bonus in your account which can be used towards any type of tan even spray. After trying them a few times I decided to buy the kind in the pic. I've had facial palsy for two years I found it very uncomfortable to remove the sticker from my affected side. Got in to tan and used them one time. I took them off after my tan and they literally fell into pieces and even the center of them was cracked. I didn't drop them, throw them, sit on them etc. I politely asked after my tan to exchange them. I was told she couldn't but a note would be placed on my account to exchange them the next time. Next time...I planned to buy lotion today and continue tanning and the friendly associate was on the phone with someone and when I said there should be a note on my account she asked the person on the phone if she could assist me with my broken eyewear and she was told no. Clearly they don't trust their customers not to try to cheat them out of 6$ broken glasses. They also don't trust their employees to handle simple decisions like replacing eyewear bought 10 mins before they broke. I wanted to cancel and get my money back vs continuing to tan but if you think that's how it works, wrong! If they care so much about eyewear that honestly costs .50 to buy they definitely aren't giving back unused tanning $$. It's the point of bad service, not the price at all!!!!!! I'm truly just amazed and saddened because I know this will mean nothing to them.

Most places will start treating you differently if you don't want to sign up for the best memberships or have concern. The lady heard me and told me the first tan was free, and then showed me that I can sign up for texts and get another free tan. There was no mention of memberships or pricing or anything. I signed my little waiver and within 5 minutes got into a bed. She also gave me her recommendations, as I burn super easily, and I actually didn't come out burnt! It was super clean and I really liked the vibe of the room! Solely because of this treatment, I'll never go to another tanning salon, and I'm more than happy to come back often and pay full price! I completely understand that businesses need to make money and a profit, but this marketing is better than just handing someone a list of prices and trying to convince them to choose the most expensive one. The store isn't anything fancy, but always fast and friendly service, clean beds and you won't find better prices anywhere in Muncie. After living in NYC and paying sometimes $30 PER TAN, I really appreciate that you can get 10 tans for that at Ultra Image! Their regular beds are plenty strong but you can also try a Genesis (with extra face tanning bulbs) or the bronzer bed to get extra dark. The Genesis and regular beds are the same price, bronzer bed is a bit more expensive but you get great, lasting color. They generally have a early bird special too, which is $3 tan if you come in before noon!

I originally emailed them a week prior and I sent photos of myself in my dress for a special…read moreoccasion so they could see my lines I was trying to eliminate. This is for my son's wedding and I wanted to make sure this was reasonable. My tan lines were fairly light but I am wearing an off the shoulder dress. When they didn't respond after three days, I called and left a voice mail. They then responded via email. I set up the appointment for 1pm for express spray tan. The day of my appointment, they called me in the morning and asked if I could come in by 10:45 or 11. I thought I could make it by 11. It turns out I couldn't get there until 11:15. The clerk/sprayer operator acted very put out even though I was doing them a favor by changing my appointment. I let the bronzer sit on me for 8 hours and I did not wear a bra. She told me that I should not wear one until I rinsed off unless I wanted lines. I definitely did NOT want lines....that is what I am trying to avoid. I did the express. I should have only had to wait 4 hours. I waited 8 for good measure. I AM SO DISAPPOINTED! I don't know if the photos reflect it well, but I still have lines....which will show up in photos and I have lines on my wrists. Maybe my wrists weren't straight when she sprayed them. This was not a good experience for me. I'm not dark skinned, and these were not dark lines to begin with. These photos are from 28 hours after being sprayed.
