This farmers market packed in the feels (you will get a real countryside feel visiting this one) watching the locals and with the local bands playing Scottish music. The vendors are unique and the products they carry even more unique. You would feel drawn to almost every single tent. The tenants are warm and welcoming. The market is held on a community school backyard with a playground at the back. So if you are visiting with kids, plenty of options to manage the little tyrants. I got my toddler a very nice wooden bow & arrow and he loves it! We got wine, cheese, chocolate and everything was so good. I cannot explain but this market had that warm, happy, community vibe to it and that feeling is amazing. This will be my stop on every single visit to Victoria.

Their breakfast sandwich is fresh and delicious and they also have a tons of island food goods. They are known for their coffee and they also sells the coffee beans there. They do have sitting both inside and outdoor and if you have a dog, you could sit with your dog in their patio. They also have a small goat farm there that you can go see. The goats are cute and nice. We will definitely come back when visiting the island again.

It's a fun, large market, with a lot to choose from in the heart of Bellingham. The Bellingham Farmers Market occurs on Saturdays, so when I visited, I made my way over there an hour after it opened, and it was already packed! People get here early for the market even in the rain! I was impressed to see the large crowds with the wet weather, but it didn't stop us, Washingtonians. It really reminded me of a community event that many of the locals spend time at on their Saturday mornings - love that. The market takes place in downtown Bellingham, and has an outdoor area, along with a large indoor space where the market staff have a booth, selling their merchandise. It's also a dog-friendly market, so expect to see a lot of furry friends. There was live music, plenty of vendors of all specialties, and was next to a seating area where people could enjoy their market eats. I had a fun time, checking out all the vendors and supporting the local economy. I would happily be back to the Bellingham Farmers Market when in the area.

The fresh section has beautiful fruits and vegetables, often better than Thrifty Foods, as well as many Asian vegetables which are tucked away in the back side corner. They have great fresh ginger and the best papaya's. There are tons of pantry items from all over the world, tons of British items etc .... It also has the usual needs too, dairies, etc ... Both of us ended up tag-teaming the toilet for several hours. Never to be put off by one bad experience, I recently bought a precooked Melton Mobray Pork Pie. It was very, very, dried out and moldy. I spoke with the supplier and they told me the pies are delivered frozen, Fairway thaws them and affixes the best before. So, it would seem the pork pie went in the ditch between the frozen state and the purchase date. I will never eat prepared food from that store again. Other than that, the service and prices are average and the "fresh" quality is inferior to Save-on or Thrifty.

I was…read moreblown away by the picture opportunities that they have out and the condition of the pumpkins. great choices and none had soft spots. we do our thing and go in to pay. little family run place with Dan in the market working on things. his son in law was at the till. had a wonderful chat with him. he told me every morning someone is out checking the pumpkins and refilling, pulling the pumpkins that have soft spots. someone rebuilds the displays where you pick pumpkins and take pictures. I cannot believe I did not know about this place. we will definitely be back!!
