Yvonne is always calm and calming, smiling and welcoming to the babies. Her energy is very positive and reassuring, especially as we are first-time parents. Our baby eats well, naps well and plays well, and that's what we want! It's obvious she's experienced and knows what to do with kids. Simply a pro. We highly recommend her.

I felt like Yvonne did not care at all about my child, and she picks her favorites because she gave me an ew look and made comments that she thinks my child has an issue. She also said my child was gross because she had a little runny nose on that day and she was left on the corner and being ignored. Overall, we had bad impression that she was very rude and just takes kids for money. She kept taking about her boyfriend and we felt low class vibe on our first day unfortunately. We will never go back to her and still make us feel sick by remembering this experience. My baby is safe and enjoying her new daycare everyday and now we sure know that Yvonne has an issue not my baby.

It's a full Spanish immersion program and they have very flexible options. We opted for full time M-F 8-5:30pm. Maria and her entire team are amazing: communication is clear and prompt, teachers are engaged and caring, and the school is clean, safe, and offers wonderful enrichment activities like soccer, capoeira, and music. We always feel listened to, and the teachers send updates throughout the day. One of my favorite parts of the workday is getting the cutest photos and videos of her and her friends engaged in all sorts of activities like outdoor play or reading books. The biggest testament to the program is our daughter herself. Now 18 months old, she's excited to go to school every morning, happily jumping from my lap into her teachers' arms, and she's calm and happy when we pick her up. Teacher Gabby V. has been incredibly caring and thoughtful. We feel so lucky to have had her help care for our daughter over the past 14 months. She consistently goes out of her way to provide thoughtful, individualized care, whether that means adjusting nap schedules or giving a little extra attention when needed. Being a first time mom, I was nervous to let go and have someone else take care of my daughter. But as I watched her start to get accustomed to the schedule there, I noticed how the staff is educated and friendly. It was emotional for me to watch her learn to be independent at MFP and Maria and Cinthia were very accommodating to helping my daughter transition from homecare to daycare. There's plenty of extracurricular activities dancing, music, soccer, including all the planned crafts to keep her engaged. I always found that they updated ProCare with plenty of updates and pictures to keep me informed of her daily activities. Cinthia, Teacher Karen, Teacher Veronica, Zohra are just some of the friendliest faces who helped take care of her. I also witnessed a very smooth transition between classrooms from the Cherry Room to Olive Room. Cinthia was always available to chat through any of my questions and provided input to best support her. We were so sad to have to leave MFP but primarily did so because of moving (needing to reduce the daycare pickup commute). What was also so sweet was how thoughtful they were to provide her a wonderful experience for both her first birthday at school and her last day. I would recommend MFP!

As first time parents, we were really nervous about sending our son to a daycare, but we needed to put him in a 5 months old because of work. They are great at getting insight into anything going on at home to inform how they support him at daycare. With the awesome hours, we feel so comfortable sending our son to MTA. When we drop him off, he is ecstatic to see his teachers and doesn't even look back at us when we hand him to them! As a first time father, I had a lot of trepidation about leaving my baby with a bunch of "strangers" but that quickly changed. Amy, the location's director, has put together a magnificent staff of caring, loving, jovial people that greets your child by name every morning & every afternoon. Our daughter started off in the Sugar Maples group with Teacher Brenda & Teacher Edith, my personal favorite, who still stops & checks in with our daughter every single day. Security Guard Andre also greets every kid by name every day accompanied with high fives & hand daps. Our daughter is now in the "Field Maple" group, where each kid is at least 24 months old, and Teacher Sandy & Teacher Isabel continued providing great leadership & guidance for our daughter. The pedagogy at Maple Tree is outstanding! I was amazed the first time my daughter came home saying words in Spanish as well as in American Sign Language. Hearing my daughter counting at such a young age helped reenforce just how good the Maple Tree program really is. The biggest thing for us is seeing how excited our daughter is everyday to attend school everyday. If you are looking for a daycare for your child, I Highly suggest Maple Tree Academy. Maple Tree Academy is top notch in every way.

You'd like to think your child is in the best of care when you send him off to daycare, but you can never really know. However, with Mariama, when we go pick our son up at the end of the day, we always see her being very hands on and interactive, sitting down playing with our son before they notice we are even there. So we know! And we appreciate you so much, Mariama! I want to tell every mom in West LA how amazing she is and what an amazing daycare she has started, but then again we want her all to ourselves! The French aspect is also a huge plus for us. The daycare is clean and lots of toys for the kids to play with and an outdoor area with slides etc. Lastly, Mariama prepares a variety of healthy food for our growing boy! There are not enough stars to rate Little Bears Child Care…read more My grandson started Little Bears when he was 7 months old and I am continually impressed by Jackie and Elena. He loves them both and since the beginning was always happy to be there. Now that he is almost 2, he runs in when he arrives, always welcomed by Elena and her warm smile and on the way home, talks about the day, his friends Jackie, Elena and the kids. I am a child development specialist who worked with family child care providers for over 30 years and this child care can be an educational model for Family Child Care Home/Preschool. Jackie and Elena are loving, kind, professional and fun. They provide an environment that is welcoming, loving, safe, enriching and developmentally appropriate. They offer a variety of activities that are tailored for each age group and their developmental stage. When I look at the photos that they post daily I am so impressed by how intentional each activity is. They set up activities that each child can engage in her own level and each activity covers several skills. Kids get to engage in dramatic play daily which helps them make sense of the adult world, whether they cook in the pretend dramatic area kitchen or participate in a real cooking activity that later they get to eat. Painting a big box that is going to become a car they can pretend to ride. They get to peel tape from the letters of their name which not only exposes the child to their name but strengthens their fine motor skills by pooling the tape. In a recent activity they made circular holes in a large box, colored the edges of each circle with another color and had colorful ball to put in the hole. The infants enjoyed playing with the ball and drop the ball inside. The older toddlers where able to sort the balls and drop them in the matching-colored circle. This activity for example offers so many learning opportunities while having fun; language, matching , sorting (foundation for Math) , fine motor skills, language development and social skills. (waiting for a turn and having fun with their peers ) I love the fact that Jackie and Elena choose to have 6 children even though they can have a license for a larger group. Having 6 children with only 2 infants and 4 toddlers allows for individual attention. Any family will be lucky to join Little Bears.

The home location is on a quiet residential street and picking up and dropping off is very easy. They have lots of outdoor space and play equipment. We couldn't give them more than enough praise for how well they treat the babies, and how happy they all look when being dropped off and picked up. Especially our girl, she's now so social, so funny, and overall just a happy girl. Almost coming up at 1 years old, we couldn't have asked for a better experience for her in her first months. She now has friends and a 2nd home. Also, they cook food and feed them lunch and snacks everyday. They help with any medications that the baby may need. They send regular photos and updates, and are always looking for ways to help with our baby's growth and learning: eating solids, crawling, and potty training when the time comes. Their home is regularly deep cleaned by professionals, and spacious: they have a fun room for the kids to play and interact, as well as a room dedicated for napping. They also have a safe and fun backyard for when the weather is nice! And the price for all of this is incredibly reasonable considering what nannies and some of the other daycares cost in West LA. Even after she grows out of daycare we will always keep Irma and Daysi in our hearts as they have helped us so much during such a tough time in our lives. Moving to LA, having no family or friends here, and becoming that for us has been the biggest blessing we've experienced in our time here. We love them as much as a family member, and they love their kiddos equally as much! I can go on and on about how we feel about the place! They are incredible!!!!

We joined during the peak of Covid and it was nice to see how clean they keep everything combined with the free flowing air and HUGE outdoor space (our daughter loooves to be outside). Our daughter was proclaimed by her prior daycare as a "tough baby", "a diva", etc etc. She was!! Irma and Daysi rolled with us through the 8/9mo separation leap, sleep regressions, navigating solids (Irma's cooking is for sure better than mine! Now our daughter eats everything!), you name it! I could finally focus at work knowing that she was safe and well taken care of (at her first place, I would drop her off late and pick her up early). Some parents wonder about sickness: at our first daycare, she was sick every week and a half (and she was there roughly 3 months!). At Sent, (knock on wood!!!!) it's been manageable. Again, they keep everything very clean! Now, when we say that it's time for "school", our daughter runs to the door and says, "Byeeeee!" She loves her friends and she LOVES Daysi so much. They have dance parties, do art, celebrate birthdays and holidays, and again, have the outdoor space to be toddlers. Sent will always be a part of our family. We are forever grateful.

Through every transition -- from adjusting nap times to introducing solids to transitioning from breastmilk to formula -- Erika was always happy to implement my requests and made the process smooth for our family. She has also been incredibly flexible with us. We only send our daughters part-time, but whenever we needed an extra day, Erika always did her best to accommodate. It's clear that she genuinely cares for and loves the children. You can see it in the way the kids respond to her, in how many of her little ones stay with her from babyhood onward, and in how many families trust her with multiple children.
