The builder informed me that I had purchased the model "as is" and they would not remedy the problem. They referred me to 84 Lumber. After two phone calls 84 Lumber responded and took complete responsibility to repair the system to like new condition at no cost. They left one small item unfinished, but returned 3 days later with the last remaining finish piece to make the door look perfect. It required snaking inside the building with my 16' trailer and navigating around everyone else who was loading. If I had not been watching, they would have sent me up the road without loading the sheathing for the shed sides. Additionally, the way it was loaded, even with 6 straps it was impossible to properly secure the load. My loader was a high school kid. Maybe someone with more experienced would have been quicker. I will try again for my next project.

The 2x8x8 is damaged exactly in the middle. It looks like pallet was dragged across concrete - ends of some boards have 1/3 thickness scraped off. Having it here means the builders using this store are not trucking their huge loads out there on 440 and 40 and other busy roads. It's great to have them right on 64 and near 55 and Davis, less time blocking the roads with shorter trips. Most of the homes built in the area traveled through this store. Look at your door hinges, they might say Carolina Builders. It's a great group of guys working here, some have been here over 20 years. Thumbs up to Richard Maynard, and Butch, great guys!
